Charlotte's Point of View
"This job is not meant for wolves," I groaned, falling back onto the bed.
Hunter and I had moved into the palace, Mom deemed it fit for me since I was a Goddess.
"I know," Hunter sighed, climbing on top of me, "This seems so unreal."
We had already found six of the Goddess's in the past four months, quite an accomplishment actually. But I'll introduce them later on.
Hunter pulled up my shirt, rubbing his hands over my large baby bump.
I couldn't help but smile.
Eight months pregnant.
I would give birth any day now.
Mom is happy with dad, she just fell pregnant with her fourth child. And Dad had recently proposed.
Mom was labeled with the Goddess of Flowers, hence her name. She was so happy when she found out she could grow a garden without actually having to put all the work into growing a garden.
Dad said that there are very few male God's, but there are a few out their. We've only found one though.
The God of Earth.
And even though Fawn has Joe for a mate, I had to laugh when she stomped her foot when she saw Venus was his mate.
I mean, the guy was like, super buff.
But that was not my type. Hunter was my type.
Hunter smiled, as if reading my thoughts, and pecked my lips softly.
I had graduated early, since I didn't want to walk around school being pregnant.
I kissed him back softly.
John was gone, dead. How? I didn't know. But one of the other Goddess's, The God of the Dead, is making sure that he never comes back.
Funny thing is, every God or Goddess, is a teenager.
Ginger is the Goddess of Life, meaning she can either give life or take life. But she was full of life herself. She loves children. She loves everyone.
Venus was deemed Goddess of the Stars, aka the Universe. Goddess of the Stars seemed more appropriate since she could do whatever she wanted with the universe.
Fawn, mate to the God of the Earth. She's named as the Goddess of the Forest. I have nothing to say about her. She gloats about it too much.
Me. Goddess of the Moon. I had her inside of me now. I could talk to her. She told me so many stories, I had to listen every time she spoke. She was so...interesting.
Hunter had accepted my new look an the fact I had a wolf and a Goddess inside of me, but I could only shift at night unless I met the Goddess of the Sun and they allowed me to shift in daylight.
I have looked for that kid since the day I found out I couldn't shift. I could tell they were messing with the sun, making the days shorter, nights longer, but they didn't want to be found.
And then my water broke.
I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't notice what it was for about thirty seconds.
And then Hunter was taking me to the hospital.
