The nurse finally approaches what appears to be trays room, I'm so nervous I can feel my heart beating out of my chest.. I bout to see my baby ahhh

He opens the door and before he could help me I rolled myself in, i pass the wall with the bathroom and make it to the end of the bed

There he was.

He looked so peaceful laying in the bed , I admire him and notice the breathing tube connected to his nose and and the machine next to him constantly beeping , he looked as if he was just taking a simple nap , which technically he was , just a long ass nap that took a while
"Is he your boyfriend"
Airi rolls herself up next to the bed closer to him, she looks down at his hand laying still beside him
"Yea" she smiles at him , from his tag she can see the nurses name is Antonio
She slowly holds trays hand, it.. it was so cold, lifeless even, she quickly dropped it scared , she looked back at Antonio
He gives her a sweet smile "his body temperature is low , so he feels cold but he is alive I assure you"
Airi gives him an awkward smile back,she could tell Antonio was gay from the way he talked and acted , either he was gay or just really flamboyant

She tried again and this time when airi grabbed trays hand she wasn't as scared, she closed her eyes and took a breath.. she grabbed his hand and squeezed it , as she did a tear fell from her eye, she leans her head on their hands and begins to cry , the cry became a sob
"I'll give you some alone time" Antonio says walking out of the room
Airi hears the door shut and looks up at tray
Her eyes were so glossy and her face was dripping salty tears
"tr..tra.." her voice escapes as she tries to find the words , the right words, she swallows
"tray... I'm so sorry this happened to you, this was never supposed to happen , not to you , your to good , you've become my everything in such a short time and now.. now what am I.. what am I gonna do without yo-" she says the words but they stop coming out and all she feels is more tears forming

She remembers what the doctor told her and realized that she has to be strong not only for herself for but tray as well , and that meant getting him to wake up and staying by his side until that happens.
She lets go of his hand and rolls herself to the sink , she needs a paper towel but it's to far from her reach
She reaches far and stretch's her arm out , but fails
Airi locks her chair and slowly stand up , her arms shake as her body weight is all on her upper body now , she grabs onto the sink and pulls herself up straight, she grabs a paper towel and sits back down taking a breath , she wipes her now half dried tears off her face and takes another deep breath
She looks back at tray and rolls herself over to the side of the bed again
She takes his hand again this time but confidently
"Tray , you wanna know something? I love you so much, now I know you already know that but like no , I don't think you know the extent of how much , haha and one of my favorite things is your stupid jokes and your big ass smile , or how much you annoy me and I tell you to stop but in all honesty I don't want you to.."
The conversation continues
"I can't wait until you wake up , I miss you , I need you" she looks down and back up at him

She hears the door swing open and looks back to see who walked in
"Airionna its time to go back to your room" her mom walks in with anger written all over her face
Airi scoffs and looks back at tray
"I know you heard your mother young lady , let's go right now!" Her dad yells
She kisses his hand and rolls herself toward them
Her mom gets a grip of her wheel chair and takes her back to her room
A tear escapes her face and she wipes it quickly.
She sees the rooms pass by one....by....one , she gets farther and father from tray, she feels her heart tearing into tiny pieces caused by the one and only , her parents.

They make it back to her room and Airi tries to get into her bed
"Let me help yo-" her mom says coming to her
"No! I got it" she needed help but was not gonna take it especially not from her parents
She pushes through the screaming pain and gets on the bed
She leans back and stares at her parents out of breath
"What?" Her dad says
"Ma literally told me I could see tray , and then when I do , y'all come and stomp in and force me back to my room , what is the issue"
"What i said may have been true but never did I say you could go alone with him, you disobeyed my rules"
"What!"
"Don't raise your voice at her young lady" her dad stands up
"Now i dont care if he is sick or in a coma , you are still not to see him , and you can forget about dating him"
Airi laughs
"I'm 18 dad , you don't control me"
"As long as you live in our house , you date who we want you to date , like for example Toby"
"Toby?!! That church boy from my party who you invited without telling me, hell naw"

They hear a knock on the door
"Hello" Airi's doctor walks in
"So , i have great news , we checked you and your good for release tomorrow around 2pm"
"Perfect" her mom says
