Minyeong knocked on the door out of courtesy before opening the door. He announced his presence as he slid his shoes off, walking towards the back of the small house where Seokmin's mother resided.
Once he reached the door, he knocked gently, waiting for the Okay to come in. Once received, he opened the door slowly, smiling when he caught sight of Seokmin's mother.
"Hello Mrs.Min, how have you been these days?" Minyeong asked gently, looking over his shoulder to see Seokmin close the door.
"I-I've been ma-managing, how ab-about you de-deary?" Seokmin's mother stuttered out and Minyeong sighed.
"I-I've been coping..I don't know if you've heard, but Xingshu, you remember my bodyguard right? He uh..he passed away recently.." Minyeong admitted and rubbed his neck. He looked down at the floor as he heard the mother gasp.
"Oh, I'm so sorry darling, I know how much of a father figure he was to you. He's always watching over you at least," his mother offered her condolences.
Minyeong smiled a little, and realized he bought her medicine.
"I bought your medicine earlier today. Seokmin told me how you all were struggling to afford it..I really hope you get better, Mrs.Park. I would hate for your son to go through the same pain I'm going through," Minyeong held Mrs.Park's hand, squeezing it to provide comfort.
"I'll be up and at em soon enough, this little fever isn't going to kill me." Mrs.Park smiled, Minyeong smiled back.
"Uh..Minyeong? Someone says you need to get to the castle immediately. Something happened." Seokmin informed the King who sighed and stood.
"Is it urgent?" Minyeong asked, and Minyeong gave Mrs.Park a hug as he stepped out the room, making his way towards the road of the town.
Once he stepped out the house and looked towards his castle, he saw smoke rising from it.
"Oh my god, Seokmin stay away from the castle! I mean it!" Minyeong ordered Seokmin and starting to run towards his home, approaching it as he speed increased, not slowing down until he got there.
The closer he got, the louder a crowd sounded. He pushed through the crowd and made his way to the front, seeing a riot outside. He climbed his castle wall and peered down at the pesky little humans that held torches and gasoline tanks.
He watched as someone got close and lit fire to a tub of explosives.
"Everyone move away!" Minyeong yelled as he saw the explosives go off, sending him flying off the building. He landed on the ground with a loud thud and slid a bit. He groaned as he stood up shakily, blood running down the side of his head from an open gash.
His ears were ringing as he saw the humans retreat, except seven. He couldn't exactly make out who they were, but he knew he held a distaste for them. He stumbled as he looked around his surroundings, seeing one side of his castle blown apart.
He stumbled as he tried to catch himself, blood dripping onto the ground. He looked towards the town and saw his vampires frantically running around. He saw Seokmin standing there and they locked eyes. Minyeong reaches out to him as he vision started going out.
He fell into his side, trying to push himself up so he could help Seokmin back away from the castle, not wanting anything to happen to him.
He felt the vibrations of seven pairs of feet come running towards him, his vision fading out as his eyes rolled to the back of his head, going unconscious.
