Elizabeth started tearing up but tried to hold it. "My-my whole life- people have told me what is good and what is bad and I never stopped to think..there's an in between"-E
Elizabeth looked down at the floor and sniffled "Can you just go already!"-E she said with a shaky voice.
But instead of Jughead leaving, he went and hugged Elizabeth. She started to cry and he just held her when other people wouldve just left, he stayed there for her.
The two ended up going to lunch at little Chock Lit Shoppe called Pops.
Betty sighed then rubbed her eyes. "I'm a mess.. I-I'm sorry"-E "It's ok"-J "Oh my- I said sorry look what you did to me jones"-E she teasingly said and then she giggled "You're really adorable"-J "I have a hard shell but I'm actually a softy I just don't show that part of me to many people.. they usually can take the sweet ones out early.."-E
"Why do you always say that?"-J "My dad.. my parents had a divorce and he moved away. One day he was helping a lady across the street and a car didn't stop In time and hit him. He was ok.. just really hurt.. but my mom said I could never visit him because he was too hurt to bare any.. teenager.."-E
A few tears streamed down her face. She wiped them away with a napkin and sniffles "Wow.."-J "I keep crying I-infront of you and it's just.. not right"-E "Eli- betty it's fine"-J "I like that name"-E
They got food and then went back to Elizabeth's house. She opened the door and walked in "Welcome to my home"-E
Jughead walked in and looked around "It's very.."-J "Messy, crazy, ugly, yeah I hate it but I can afford any remodeling or whatever you do to trailers. I need new furniture also but.. that costs money.. and that's something I don't have much more then to afford food, gas for my bike, and bills."-E
"Wait bills? You're still in.. in highschool"-J "im emancipated"-E "Oh.."-J "Mhm. It's not very good to have a drunk of a mother.. as a mother"-E "You're life is crazy"-J "Very"-E
They both sat on the couch and sighed. Elizabeth took off her serpent jacket. "So you said you would coach me to be a serpent.. how about we started now"-J
Elizabeth thought for a moment but then turned to Jughead "I have a better idea"-E
