As we entered the ice-cream parlor, I spotted Jonah glaring at me. I looked away and sat down at our table.

After a while, I realized it was getting late and I should start heading home.

'Hey Daniel, I should probably head home now.' I say, looking up at him.

'Okay, I can drive you home.' He says, pointing towards his car out-front.

'Yeah, thanks. That would be great.' I say getting up from my seat. I look over and still see Jonah looking at me. Is there something on my face? Does he like me too? All these thoughts faded away as I started walking with Daniel. We hold hands and I rest my head on his shoulder. I look up to see him smiling. I loved it when he smiled, especially when I was the cause.

As I get into the car, a shiver goes down my spine.

'Geez, it's gotten kind of cold.' I say reaching to close the car door.

'Here.' Daniel says, giving me his hoodie. I smile and pull the hoodie over my white dress. I instantly feel warmer.

'Thanks, Daniel.'

The car comes to a stop, and I realize We are now outside of my house.

'Thank you so much for today.' I say. 'It was the best Birthday I could've asked for.' Daniel smiles wide as he leans in. Our lips collide as we kiss. My heart racing and my face probably turning red.

'I love this boy.' I say in my head as we pull away. I look at Daniel and see him smile.

'Do you have to go?' Daniel asks sadly. As much as I didn't want to leave this car, I had to.

'Yeah.' I sigh. He hugs me tight. I open the car door and wave goodbye as I walk in through my front door.

'Hey Y/N. Did you have a good time?' My Dad asks as he comes down the stairs to greet me.

'Yeah, today was amazing.' I say, fiddling with the sleeves of Daniel's hoodie.

'Who's hoodie is that?' My Dad asks, curiously.

'Oh, It's Daniel's.' I answer, blushing. 'I'm really tired Dad, I should probably get some sleep.'

'Alright, goodnight Y/N.' He says plunking down on the couch and switching the T.V ON.

I enter my room and kick off my shoes. Today was the best day I could have ever asked for. I mean Daniel, my crush and best friend, Kissed me...TWICE.

I sigh as I lye down on my bed. My mind drifts off and my eyes become heavy as I slowly fall asleep.

I wake up the next day, to the sound of my alarm going off.

BEEP BEEP BEEP.

I grab my phone and turn the alarm off. I roll over, the phone still in my hand, when I realize I got a text from Daniel. I open the text:

Daniel: 'Keep the hoodie.'

I look down to see me still wearing the clothes from yesterday, and of course, Daniel's hoodie. I type back:

'Thanks <3' and shut off my phone. I get up off my bed and get changed.

I wear Daniel's hoodie, some black leggings, and my white Vans. I jog down the stairs and into the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. I quickly curl my hair and go to the lounge-room.

'Good morning Y/N! You're up early. My Dad says while he puts bread into the toaster. 'You want some?'

'No, I'm okay thanks, Dad.' I reply opening the front door to leave.

'Why are you leaving now?' He asks, confused. I spin on my heel and look at him.

'I umm... want to get to school early today.' But really I just want to see Daniel. I couldn't wait to see his mesmerizing blue eyes and cute bleached hair.

'Oh, okay. Cya after school then.'

I walk to the bus stop. Lucky I brought the hoodie with me because it was getting REALLY cold.

Finally, the jam-packed bus arrives and I jump on immediately seeing Daniel patting the seat next to him.

'Heyy, you're wearing my hoodie!' He says with a wide smile on his face.

'Of course! Why wouldn't I?' I say resting my head on his shoulder. He rubs my arm and the bus starts driving.
