Y/n  POV 

As I took my set in 3 period right before lunch I heard an announcement come over the loudspeaker, can I get everybody's attention please the voice said. The 8th grade snowball of 84 will be happening in about 3 weeks for more information your teachers will be handing out flyers. Then the loudspeaker shut off and loud chatter mostly among the girls might I add started. Then mr.clark started talking. Ok boys and girls quiet down quiet down I'm going to have let's see here ummmm Maxine will you hand these out. He asked. Yea...but it's max she said taking the stack of papers from mr.clark. Now let me tell you some things about max 1 she's the only other skateboarder I know around here and we used to talk well when she first moved here I met here at the skate park that no body was ever at because well no one skates around here we were kind off friends well more like people that just talk every once in a while but then she stopped talking to me all together not at the arcade and I almost never saw her at the skate park not even a hello at school I mean I know I'm not popular well I'm mostly just a loner but she was hanging out with people who were even more unpopular then me so I didn't even know why she just left me I thought maybe I was making a friend the only other thing that could of made her want to stop hanging out with me was the rumor the rumor that was true well I'm not quite sure yet but I think it's true ok so the rumor was and still is that I like girls and I'm still figuring it out. I get pulled out of my thoughts by max putting a sheet of paper on my desk it read snowball of '84  I went to pick it up but a small pease of paper was under neath. Met me at the park to talk -max.
