Once the decoration was over and all were tuckered out for all the singing and making the opera house festive, every adjourned to the dining hall where they are feasted with warm stew and bread. But for Christine, her work is not yet finished. When she said she will give the greatest Christmas to the Phantom, she sticks true to her word. But she has only one problem on her mind. 'What can I get for him for Christmas?' she thought. She doesn't know him that well to know what to get him. "Something on your mind, Christine?" Meg asked as she joined her best friend. "Oh. Sorry, Meg. Yes. I am just wondering what I can give the Phantom as a Christmas gift." Christine tells her friend. "You want to give him a gift?" Meg asked quietly so no one else hears her. "Meg. He deserves a real Christmas and feel the joy and happiness that it can bring and that love and hope are the greatest joy about this holiday." Christine explained to the young dancer. "I don't know if that is a wise idea, Christine. I don't want you to get your hopes up. Remember, he hates the world below his home. But he only has one exception he has and that is you." Meg tells her. "I know, I know. But I am still planning to get him a gift that comes from my heart and that one person does care for him." Christine assured her. "Well, then. Let's think of it like this. What would you want?" Mag asked Christine. "Well, truthfully, what I love in the world is music and the ones he writes." Christine tells her. That gave Meg an idea as it pops into her head. "Christine. I have an idea. Why don't you give him a personal score you wrote just for him?" Meg suggested. Christine's face then lights up. "You're right, Meg. His own music I composed for him is a perfect Christmas gift. Lucky for me, I do have composition knowledge from his teaching and there is a empty room with a piano on it so I can work there in solitude." Christine agreed. She then finished up her lunch and wash her bowl and head to the empty room. Little do they know that Madame Giry overheard them and knew that it might be good for him to know what it is like to receive a gift but she is questioning herself, 'Should I informed the master of her plans?' She then nodded on the question and decided to enter through a secret passage leading down to the catacombs of the Opera House.

The Phantom is at his organ again composing music to help him get over the idea of Christmas being at his home. But he knew he cannot break Christine's hopes and dreams of bringing happiness and joy to a place she also calls home. "I can never say no to her." He said to himself as he writes. "As long as I am not part of Christmas, then they can celebrate it." "That may not be easy as it seems." He heard a voice from behind his back. "And why is that, Madame Giry?" He asked his friend. "I happened to overhear her talking to Meg and she is hoping to brighten your spirit with a gift of her own to you." Madame Giry tells him. He then stops writing and turns around to face her. "I beg your pardon?" He asked amusing. "Christine wishes to give you a gift for the holidays. I know how you feel about this time of year, but she wants you to enjoy Christmas with your heart and feel like someone does care about you." Madame GIry explained. He was really touched by what he was told and then realized one thing in return. "But, Giry. I haven't gotten a gift for her." He reminded himself and to Madame Giry. "It is never too late, Erik." She assured him. He then goes back to his organ and blank sheet music and think of the idea. "Well...I can try to come up with some sort of gift." He said and Giry is smiling that he is willing to put his dark heart aside and bring Christmas joy to not only for his lost soul but for Christine.
