Rose came rushing towards the lunch table I was sat at. Her face fixated on me with excitement written all over her features. I knew she had something to tell me.

When she sat next to me, she was trying to catch her breath. She always went out of breath when she had to tell me something super important. So I braced myself.

"Rose, relax. What is it you want to tell me." I said trying to sound calm.

She gave me a smirk, "Harry-super-attractive-Styles just asked me where your house is!! What is up with THAT?!"

Ha. Wait. What?

"What?"

"He did, oh my god, he totally asked me! He was like: Can you give me Lana's address?" She said imitating his deep brooding voice. I could not help but laugh. More reasons why Rose is my best friend.

"Best imitation I've seen!" I said mockingly.

"You know, I only needed some sunglasses to look cool as he does, then that imitation would've been on point!"

I laughed again. You know that laugh, the one that comes from the heart. It is only in that moment where I feel most alive.

But these moments are fleeting. I realized that she was talking about Harry. I suddenly stop laughing.

"Are you actually serious? Did he really ask you?"

"Yes obviously. Wait, do you have something to tell me? Why did he ask me about this?" She said confused.

"Yes actually. Mr. Wells asked me to tutor him because he was falling behind in maths. But Harry was a total dick about it and refused my help"

I wanted to shorten this conversation as much as I could. My face dropped in disappointment when I remembered what happened the other day. I was really hurt.

Rose noticed it and immediately tried to lighten the mood, "Maybe he was just shy, look now he asked for your address and he'll be at your door step begging for your help!"

"Yeah sure thing."

That entire day I was so anxious. I thought about all the different scenarios that could go down. I waited all day at home looking through the window every five minutes or so. I even went so far to check if the doorbell actually works and rings loud enough for me to hear. That did raise a lot of questioning eyes from my family.

But the day went by and the night sky rolled in. There was no sign of Harry. He definitely was not coming.

I decided to go outside and lay in our front yard to just sit down and do nothing. That's exactly what I did. I laid against our tree and just looked at the sky for a while. Wondering were I went wrong. Why did Harry dislike me so much. Why didn't he like me like everyone else did. I've never had to deal with anyone hating me so much. It's absolutely maddening. I wanted to fix it somehow. Even though I knew I did nothing and it wasn't my fault.

My eyes heavy, I drifted off to sleep peacefully. I wanted to get up and go sleep in my room but at that point I was too tired. I only hoped that it wouldn't rain. It was around 7:30 pm. It wasn't that late honestly. Maybe I'll wake up in an hour and go inside when I have enough energy.

I had one final thought before I entered my dream world.

What if Harry showed up?
