Prompt: Snowman // Pairing: Ming x Kit

Kit reached between them where Ming's hands rested on the gear shift as he drove. He intertwined their hands and smiled as Ming's face practically glowed with happiness at the gesture. Kit bit back a soft chuckle. He knew that Ming had planned something else for today but when his older sister called last night asking if they'd come watch his niece and stay the night before going back home. Ming had readily agreed. He loves Ming's sense of family and how much he cared about his. Kit brought the hand up kissing the back of Ming's hand.

"Thanks for coming with me today."

"No need to thank me, Kitkat. I get to spend the day with you and N'Princess. This is better than what I had planned anyways." Ming replied gently squeezing his boyfriend's hand.

The drive hadn't been bad when they left this morning despite the snow still coming down. So they made good time getting to his sister's house. His sister stepped out onto the front porch as they pulled into the spare parking spot in the driveway.

"Thanks for helping out today. I really appreciate it." Kit's sister greeted them warmly pulling them both into hugs once they got inside. Ming sat their duffle bag down in the entry way.

"Anytime, P'Lawan." Ming replied. Kit was about to say something when a loud thump was heard above their heads on the second floor. That was quickly followed by loud giggling and the heavy padding of children sized feet down the staircase. In a flurry of purple and two pigtails Kit's niece was running towards Kit.

"Uncle Kit! P'Ming!" His niece screeched in utter joy as she launched herself at her uncle. She wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him tightly before leaning to give Ming a hug just as tight too.

"Don't choke your poor P'Ming to death. Since he's going to be here with Uncle Kit while I go run some errands." Lawan said reaching up to tuck a unraveled strand of hair from N'Princess' hair behind her ear "Behave and we'll go to the library tomorrow."

"Yes, Momma!" Princess said excitedly.

"I'll be back around fourish with dinner." Lawan said gathering her coat and purse "Text or call me if you need me."

Kit and Ming both nodded as Princess give her a kiss and a hug goodbye. Once his sister was gone, Kit turned to share a look with Ming.

"Someone looks like they were having a royal tea party. How about get her highness back to her party before her guests worry?" Ming asked tickling her softly.

"Yes!" Princess squealed happily.

It was several hours after the tea party, the great hunt for lord angry grape- Princess' favorite sparkly plum purple shaded stuffed penguin, and lunch all three of them are currently in the living room.  They had piled up on the couch. Kit had decided to sit up with Ming leaning against him and N'Princess curled up beside of Ming. As soon as the credits started rolling for Frozen, Princess and Ming started talking about how good movie was and what songs are their favorites. Ming liked Love is an Open door and Princess said her's was Frozen Heart. Kit honestly liked Let it go. He noticed Ming looking at the clock then up at him. The clock said they had almost two hours before Lawan was supposed to be home. Just from the song the two were singing he had an idea about what Ming was going to ask.

"Hey, N'Princess do you want to go build a snowman?" Ming asked playfully making his eyebrows dance as he played with one of her pigtails making her cackle.

"Yes!" She yelped happily shooting up and heading upstairs to get some outdoor clothes on.

"I'll make us some hot chocolate." Kit smiled down at him as Ming reached up cupping the back of Kit's neck bringing him down for a kiss. Kit curled his fingers into his boyfriend's hair.

"P'Ming help!" Princess called from upstairs making them stop.

"I'll go help her." Ming laughed sitting up. Kit sighed contently watching him head upstairs.

An hour later, Kit leaned against the island watching his niece and Ming work on their second snowman that was starting to resemble an adorable niece he had. He took a sip of his tea as he watched her instruct Ming in how to properly put in her snowman's hair - which happen to be two branches with splits that reminded him of her pigtails.  The coffee pot dinged letting him know that the water was ready. He sat his cup down and went to make their cocoa for when two are done. Kit had just finished sprinkling cinnamon on top of Ming's whipped cream as the back door chimed letting him know they were coming back in.

"Uncle Kit did you see my snowman?!" Princess announced cheerfully coming into the kitchen after Ming had helped her out of her snow boots and jacket.

"Yes, I did! She's adorable." Kit answered over his shoulder. "Go get out of those wet clothes and you can have some hot chocolate!"

"Okay, Uncle Kit!" She called heading upstairs once more.

"You too. I laid out some clothes in the bathroom down the hall." Kit said as he felt Ming standing behind him resting his chin on his shoulder. Kit playfully slapped the sneaky cold hand trying to slip under his comfy warm sweater. "Not right now."

"Ooo, then I get my own kitkat flavored chocolate later then?"  Ming whispered in his ear before pressing a soft peck to Kit's cheek. Ming quickly headed to the bathroom before Kit could land a successful swat at him. Kit couldn't shake the blush even when his sister came home.
