I woke up in the arms of the man in my heart, staring at his skin, relaxed, I brush my thumb on his cheek and kissed his forehead.

I make my way out of bed and take lilly to my arms, "Hey baby, what does your tummy want today", motioning at the options available, cereal or milk. Lily being lily, chose milk. I adjusted the teet at the top and gave her the milk bottle.

I locked the doors to my house after that not-so-pleasant- incident yesterday and slept the night at the hotel. Kiara has already updated me my schedule which only consists a bunch of meetings, I cancelled them so I can spend family time.

I hope damon can clear out his scedule too. I hear him walking out of the room. I peck his lips and he pulled us into a hug.

"Push back my schedule, email me a summary of the important contracts", he says

Now his attention diverted to me, as I make pancakes for us in the kitchen, "So whats going to be our plan for today", he asks,

"Ummmmmm", after what is seems forver, an idea popped right into my mind. "How about we all go for a picnic at the park and then to the beach in the evening", I exclaimed, all giddy up.

"Anything for you princess", he says, then reach out to lily, taking her to his arms and coos her mummering to her ear words i cannot hear. I giggle at this sweet sight.

I go to the room and close the door behind me, getting into the shower. The door to the room closes again, I peak through the door to see who it is and damon makes his way through, he threw his boxers and stands there near the door.
