Jungkook was sat in his usual place, the stars were out and he was staring up at them, he had long ago picked one out and named it Taehyung, it was one that was often out and it shone the brightest.
"I had a dream about you last night. We went to the centre. Hoseok was there, he asked us to sing. It was like old times. It was just a dream though. One thing that wasn't a dream though was Jin's funeral. Is he up there with you now? It seems everyone is leaving me. First Namjoon left, then you, now Jin. We are dropping like flies babe. I miss you. What is happening to BTS? Only four of us left?"
Tears fell down his face, he knew he promised but he couldn't help it, he wanted to be with his husband. Why was he waiting, he should just end it, then he could see him again.
A rustle in the bushes caught his attention and he turned his full attention to it, he thought he saw a movement.
"Hello who goes there?"
"Kim Jungkook?" A voice sounded.
"Yes, who's there, show yourself."
"I can't do that."
"Why the hell not, who are you, and how do you know who I am?"
"Let's just say I have a proposition for you."
"A pro... what on earth are you talking about?"
"How would you feel if I told you I could send you back in time to before you retired from the spotlight, to when you were famous again?"
"I'd say you were a sandwich or two short of a picnic. Show yourself, I demand it."
"I can't do that, so what do you say? You would go back with the knowledge you have now, and you would have your husband back."
"I say you're crazy, even if you could do that why would you?"
"I'm rebelling."
"Rebelling?"
"That's right."
Jungkook looked towards the bush he couldn't help but recognise the voice, but where from he couldn't place it, it was disguised for some reason.
"Who are you?"
"Just call me the star man."
"The star man?"
"That's right bunny."
"Wait what did you call me?"
....
"Hello?"
Jungkook listened but the bush was now silent. He scratched his head, had he imagined the whole thing. Had he finally lost his mind?
His phone rang and sighing he picked it up and pressed answer.
"Papa?"
"Hello Tae-Guk."
"Eon Tae said you were upset last night, are you feeling ok?"
"Have you two been talking about me?"
"Of course papa, we worry about you."
.............
"Papa?"
"What, oh I'm ok... but the strangest thing has just happened."
"What? Is it your heart?"
"No. Nothing like that. There was someone here......"
"What? At the farm?"
"Yes.....he said...."
"What? He said what? .....Papa? You are scaring me now."
"It's nothing son. He's gone now. How are you doing? How's your work?"
"Papa? If someone is on the farm I'm coming over. You are vulnerable."
"No no need Tae-Guk. There is no one here now. And I may have been imagining it anyway."
"Papa I'm coming over. See you later."
His son hung up this time and Jungkook sighed, he had to wait up now, his son wasn't one to take no for an answer, much like Taehyung had been. He sighed again. He missed his husband terribly.
