He looked at his hands, why did they look less aged? Where was he? Where was his Kookie?
He looked around, he was in some kind of flowery field, the smell from his surroundings reminded him of a past life, when he would travel to film mv's with his man and their Hyungs.
"Taehyung?"
A voice he recognised broke into his thoughts and he turned to it.
"Namjoon? But you're...you...!"
"Died...yes I know. Welcome to heaven V."
"V?"
"Have you forgotten your life already, V?"
"But I left V behind a long time ago, why are you calling it me now...wait did you say heaven?"
"Follow me." Namjoon walked away.
Taehyung watched him for a moment, he was confused. Namjoon had died three years previously so how was he looking and speaking with him now?
"You coming?" Namjoons voice cut into his thoughts and he unsteadily, for whatever reason, followed to catch up to him.
When he reached him, Namjoon was stood beside a running stream. The water was clearer than Taehyung had ever seen stream water before, and it ran into an enclosed pond.
"Take a look." The older hyung said pointing to the water.
Taehyung looked at him, then walked slowly to the water, looking back at Namjoon again before finally looking into the still water. He gasped, his hands flew to his face.
"How...how am I young again?"
"You are dead."
"What?"
"But you are not supposed to be here yet. It's not your time."
"Excuse me?"
Namjoon smiled a brotherly smile and placed a hand on Taehyung's shoulder.
"You have to go back, but there is only one way you can do that."
"Go back? Go back where? How?"
"Jungkook has to agree to turn back time."
"Kookie? Why him?"
"He has to want it with all his heart, he has to take your hand and then it will happen."
"So send me back to him and I'll explain it to him."
"It's not that simple, V, on earth you've already been gone a year, Jungkook's heart has hardened. He's broken."
Taehyung gasped...his Kookie...nooo.
"How can I get through to him?"
"It won't be easy. You won't appear to him like you used to do."
"Please Joonie."
"You have to get him to go back."

Jungkook woke early the next morning, well opened his eyes, he had barely slept the whole night. His thought's drifted back to the strange happenings of the night before...he couldn't get his head round it...had he imagined that strange mist?
Thinking about it now in the light of day, the mist didn't feel threatening, it made him feel at home, like an old sweater wrapped around him.
Shaking his head he eased out of bed and ambled to his bathroom, he brushed his teeth and washed his face, then went back to his room to change his clothes.
Ten minutes later he was stood at the stove cooking pancakes, once finished he plated them up and went out to the veranda, taking his usual seat on his rocking chair. He ate in silence watching the birds flying between the trees, and the branches swaying.
His hair prickled the back of his neck and he was immediately on guard, placing his plate down on a side table he stood slowly and looked around.
"Who's there?"
He heard a sound, it sounded like whimpering. He walked down the steps of his porch until he was on bare ground, and walked around the house, he looked everywhere. Not finding anything he returned to his chair and sat down.
"What on earth is going on around here lately?" He said out loud.
"Bunny?"
He shot up, looking all around, that was Tae's voice.
"Tae'? Where are you?"
"Bunny, help me!"
"Help you? How...Tae'...babe please where are you?"
"You have to go back...save me."
"I will, I'll save you."
"Bunny..."
Around the side of the house the mist form faded and the voice was no more.
*************************
"He said he would go back." Taehyung was excited.
"V, saying and doing are different things. He probably said that because he heard your voice clearly. He would have said anything to talk to you longer."
Taehyung slumped, Namjoon was right.
"So what else can I do?"
Namjoon looked at him and sighed, he didn't like what he was about to tell him.
"You have to break the rules."
