This is going to be a very short chapter, but I wanted to make it. Soooo, enjoy it!
Touka Kirishima and Kaneki Ken were walking back to Anteiku. The sun was just beginning to set, casting a soft golden glow upon the Earth. It was at this moment Kaneki decided to pop a question that's been bothering him since they left the mask shop.
"Hey, Touka?"
"What?" replied the blacked hair ghoul.
"Who was that lady at the mask shop?"
"What? You don't know who she is!" Touka asks with surprise.
Kaneki shook his head no.
"Ugh." Touka dropped her voice, "Ever heard of the Human Ghoul?"
"That was her!! I could have died!" Kaneki screamed.
"Quiet down, Baka! If she wanted to kill you, you would have been dead the moment she walked in the door."
Kaneki was shaking, thinking about how close he was to death only minutes ago (even though there was no real threat of her killing him) and Touka was shaking her head at his ignorance of what she just said, as they started to walk again.
Moments later, Kaneki thought of another question.
"Hey, Touka?"
"Ugh. What now?"
"Why do I need a mask?"
"WHAT!? You don't know why! Baka!"
Hello guys! Side note: Baka means moron/idiot. Also, this was just a funny part that I was going to add in the last chapter but decided against it due to the tension that I left off with. Once again I hope to get chapter 3 out they or tomorrow.
