Hadrian had to admit, he was glad to be going back to Hogwarts. He had spent some of the summer at his father's house. It was strange being back there after so long. But now he was on the train with Draco and surprisingly Gregory and Lore's cousin Luna. Lore herself was with the Trouble Team. They were all talking about where they wanted to explore that year when there was a knock on the compartment door. It was Neville. He looked unsure but Luna immediately invited him in. It soon felt to all the members of the car that Neville and Luna had been there all along. When the Trouble Team came into the car it really felt like home.

In a compartment across the train car sat the silver four. Vincent, Morag, Theodore and Daphne. Vincent had left Gregory after seeing the type he associated with. He wasn't particularly fond of the Gryffindor twins and Fairy and Zabini had played enough tricks for him to give up on Malfoy entirely. He missed Gregory sometimes but that would pay out in the end. Morag may have been a Ravenclaw but she had cousins in Slytherin and was embedded to deeply in the politics to give up. No one really knew what Theo had against the group and they didn't really care. He was there, and that was what they wanted. Daphne was in it for all Slytherin reasons. She wanted either her or her older sister to marry the Malfoy's so they would no longer be in political debt. The group really only served themselves. But they would do it well, they swore.

Ron, Ginny, Seamus and Earnest sat two cars down. They all had very specific instructions from the headmaster himself. One of them was distracted though. The wizard was writing furiously in an old black book. They would pause every few seconds, then write again. It seemed as though they could stare at the book for hours. The kid was in a trance.

"We will be the ScarredSurvivors. That's a great name for our friend group!"
"Hestia. That only fits you."
"Clearly you don't know how the group works Dean."
"'Mione's right. Hestia is the leader, 'Mione does all the work, and I'm the amazing friend!"
"I do work!"
"Thanks Lavie."
Dean Thomas looked unsure what he had just gotten himself into.

Sorting went as expected. Luna joined Harry in Ravenclaw and no one else really caught Harry's attention. Although the newest Weasley didn't seem to have got the book. Evidenced by Ron writing in it. A journal then. The more important part is that he had a housemate who was in his friend group! He was pretty excited. This year was going to be fun, he could already tell. He just needed to study hard and not pick any fights. So no more shouting about his father forgetting him or trying to hide that he's a werewolf.
