Ryder, Jacob, and I were now at the store and stocking up on groceries. Jacob kept wanting to walk around or sit in the cart or just be in Ryder or I's arms.

"Does he have diapers?" Ryder questioned and I looked at him confused. "For your place and well mine too, what size does he wear?" I smiled and told him. He rushed to the isle as I looked at the toilet paper for the guys.

"Awe aren't you a cutie pie?" I turned quickly and saw an old woman talking to Jacob. "Did your sister bring you to the store?" Jacob shook his head and I walked over to the two.

"Ma-ma," I lifted up Jacob and the woman looked at me.

"Oh I'm sorry dear, you just look so young," I smiled and nodded at her.

"It's quite alright, it happens all the time," she smiled and nodded. She looked at my hands and her face went a little paler.

"Where's your ring? You have a son, but no ring?" I sighed. Plenty of people have treated me this way. I was use to it, but it still hurts a lot.

"Ma'am, my family and how we live is none of your business," Ryder appeared out of no where and the woman turned and looked scared.

"O-oh goodness, I'm so sorry, I apologize," she rushed off to the end of the isle as Ryder set his hand on my shoulder.

"You ok?" I smiled and nodded.

"I get it all the time," he gave me a small smile and then set the diapers in the cart. We headed to check out once we were done and I noticed the cashier girl checking out Ryder. Jacob wanted to be held so Ryder was holding Jacob and putting the groceries on the conveyor belt.

"Hey handsome, I don't see a ring on that finger and might I say you have an adorable son! Can I put in my application to be his new mama?" Ryder looked at her in disgust.

"No need," Ryder pulled me close to him and the girl glared at me.

"Ma-ma, cookies," Jacob pointed to the cookies behind me so I turned and grabbed them. I set them on the conveyor belt as well. The girl kept flirting with Ryder, but he just kept ignoring her.

"Come on, what does this little girl have that I don't?" The girl grumbled and Ryder looked at her and chuckled.

"First off, don't disrespect her, second I don't date 5 year olds, and third she's mature, hot, sweet, caring, and my sons mother and from the looks of you you're none of those," Ryder glared at thegirl and set Jacob in the cart. He took my hand and pushed the cart as we walked out. "God she was annoying," I giggled as he rolled his eyes. "She acted as if you weren't even there like seriously? She needs some thicker lenses," I bursted out laughing as Ryder chuckled. Jacob giggled too as we got closer to the car.

"Stone?" A man stood a few feet away from us. Ryder stopped immediately and lifted Jacob from the cart. "You have a heir I see," the man looked at Jacob as Ryder glared. "Oh and whose this pretty lady?" Ryder turned to me and pulled me behind him.

"What do you want Dave?" The man chuckled and walked closer to us.

"Can I not talk to my old pal?" Ryder didn't speak. "I've heard you're becoming more successful, why not combine our crews? Get larger, more money, and we can share our women," Dave winked at Ryder.

"Our crews work better separated, now if you'll excuse us," Ryder tried to walk past Dave when a bunch of men appeared out of no where. Ryder pulled Jacob and I closer to him as they all circled us. I gripped onto Ryder and Jacob as I looked at all them.

"Ya know, I thought attacking one of my guys last night was an attack but to find out that it's just because your girl was his ex, I was shocked," Dave got closer to us and I felt Ryder tense holding Jacob.

"Dave just let them leave and you can take me," Dave chuckled and I felt a hand grab my arm. I was pulled away from Ryder and Jacob as Dave held my arm tightly.

"Now why would I do that, if I want to make a deal," Jacob was staring at the scene and his lip started quivering.

"Sh it's ok, mommy is ok," Ryder tried to calm Jacob down but he wasn't having it. He was crying and I felt my heart drop.

"Someone shut the kid up," a man stepped forward and I saw Ryder pull away from him.

"Don't you lay a finger on my son!" I spat at the guy walking toward Ryder and Jacob. Dave chuckled and pulled me closer.

"Ooo you're feisty," I watched the guy stand still and Ryder slowly bounced Jacob.

"Just let us leave!" Ryder yelled and Dave shook his head.

"Agree to the deal!" Dave yelled and Jacob screamed louder. Ryder looked confused on what to do. I couldn't let my baby keep crying so I kicked Dave in the nuts and grabbed the gun from his holster. "You bitch!" Dave groaned and I saw everyone's gun turn to me as I pointed it at Dave.

"Put your guns down before I blow his brains out," I looked around and saw Ryder looking at me shocked.

"Fuck, just put your guns down," Dave grunted and the men listened.

"Pack up the car," Ryder shook out of his daze and took the cart and Jacob to the car. I kept the gun on Dave as Ryder tried to do everything quickly.

"Everyone on your knees," Ryder yelled and the men grunted and got on their knees. "Hands on your head," Ryder smirked and they listened. Ryder pulled out his gun and pulled the trigger near Daves leg. "The next time you or your crew want to mess with my family, I would rethink it," Ryder grabbed my hand and we rushed to the car. He started driving and once we got far enough on the road Ryder stopped at the light and then pulled me into a long kiss. Ummm what?
