May walked into the living room and sat right next to me. She sighed and smiled. I slightly grimaced, but didn't look over at her.

"Oh yeah I think someone should check on Macy and Jack, it sounded like someone was wheezing," Lindsey glared at her and jumped up.

"Listen you little bitch, you don't have to say anything about my best friend and my nephew. Why don't you just shut the hell up and stay out of her life?!" May rolled her eyes. Wayne grabbed Lindsey and she sat back down. There was another sound near the stairs. I jumped up and saw Madelyn. She was wiping her eyes as she walked into the kitchen.

"Mads," Wayne spoke up and she turned into the living room. She gave us all a small smile and then kept walking to the kitchen. She brought a juice box and water in her hands.

"We could have brought it to you," Luke spoke and she nodded.

"It's ok, the humidifier was getting to me anyways but at least my nose is clear," she giggled making me smile. Still cracking jokes even when she's upset.

"Did you lay him down in the crib?" I questioned and she shook her head.

"I wanted him to sleep with me in the guest room," I looked at her confused. "She was watching tv in there so I just went to a different room," I turned and glared at May.

"What? I was there first and I'm the pregnant one," I took a deep breath.

"I never even gave you permission to go to my room, so go get your shit out of my room and sleep somewhere else," May groaned and went back up the stairs.

"You didn't have-," Madelyn started but i stopped her.

"I don't want her in my bed," everyone laughed and Madelyn smiled. Jacob sounded like he was crying so she rushed back up the stairs. I followed her as she walked in. She walked over to Jacob and lifted him up.

"It's ok shh, mommy brought back some juice," she handed it to Jacob, but he didn't want it. She set the juice down and then sat on the bed. She undid her shirt and I turned quickly. She giggled and then coughed. "I didn't know you followed me in here," I chuckled and rubbed my neck.

"Sorry Maddie, I thought I should come help," I stayed turned around until she told me to look at her. I turned and saw she was all covered up. Jacob was slowly falling asleep so I walked over and sat next to her. "Are you ok?" I looked at her as she stared down at Jacob.

"Yeah, I'm just worried about Jacob," she whispered. I pulled her close to me and kissed her cheek.

"I am too baby, I'm worried about him and you, we're a team now," she smiled and leaned her head on my shoulder. I turned and set my finger under her chin to make her look at me. She turned and I smashed my lips onto hers. I don't know what this feeling is, I never felt it before.

"Baby! I want ice crea-," Madelyn pulled away from me as May walked in. "You're kissing her?!" Madelyn stood up with Jacob in her arms.

"You can go set him in the crib," I smiled at her and she nodded. She walked past May and left the room. I glared at May and shut the door. "I'm not you're sugar daddy! I'm not buying you everything, second stop calling me baby, we aren't together!" She stayed quiet. "I'm allowed to kiss whoever I want! You aren't the boss of me," she smirked and pushed me onto the bed.

"Oh I know I'm not the boss," she climbed on top of me. I was about to push her off when the door opened.

"Hey Madelyn, do you need-?" Steve walked in and looked at us shocked. I jumped up making May fall to the ground. He shook his head and then left.

"When are you going to realize that we belong together? And not that one night stand slut?" I glared at May.

"You were a one night stand! You won't leave me alone!" I pushed past her and glared. "And she's not a slut," I left and walked into my room. Madelyn and Steve were talking and laughing.

"Oh hey, we were about to walk down," Madelyn smiled and I nodded. I went down stairs and then Madelyn and Steve came down a little bit later.

"We just wanted to say goodnight," Wayne stretched and lifted Madelyn up. She rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Goodnight to you too," he set her back down and then went upstairs. The guys all told her goodnight until Lindsey stopped in front of her.

"Tomorrow some of us were going to the house to get our stuff, you don't have-," Lindsey started, but Madelyn stopped her.

"I'll go, don't worry ok Linds?" They both smiled and then hugged each other. Lindsey went upstairs to her room so Madelyn and I were the only ones left in the room. "We should get back to Jacob," She whispered and I nodded. I followed her up the stairs and into my room. Jacob was sleeping soundly, she looked so relieved. She walked over to his crib and smiled. I walked over to my side and got ready for bed.

"Steve told you didn't he?" She looked over at me and looked confused.

"Told me what?" I sighed and laid down in bed and looked at her.

"May was trying to seduce me after you left, I promise nothing happened," she nodded and sat on the bed. She set her hand on the crib and sighed.

"His fever went down," she turned to me and smiled. "I was worried that it wasn't going to drop at all," I nodded and scooted closer to her.

"He'll be ok, he got your genes," I wrapped my arm around her waist as she giggled. She laid down next to me and smiled.

"I'm pretty sure he got your genes," we both laughed and then fell asleep.
