Agatha woke up at sunrise. It was gorgeous, and Agatha was at peace with the fact that it could be one of the last things she ever saw.

She was marvelling at its beauty, when a shadow flew across the near horizon.

Such an unmistakable shadow that made Agatha's heart filled with the same hope that the old loon gave her last night.

Peter Pan.

It took Pan the whole night to fly to Camelot from Neverland. Flying is a great deal faster than travelling by boat, he would have arrived sooner if he didn't have so much extra weight slowing him down.

He landed on the docks and walked toward the castle through the markets.

The place looked old and the people looked hungry. People were either too poor to buy things or too poor that they couldn't afford not to sell things.

Peter bolted for the castle steps as soon as he got the chance. He only made it up 10 of the steps when guards grabbed him.

He knew that he would be caught. He also knew that being caught was the only chance he'd have at getting into the castle.

"What da ya think your doing?" Said a guardsman with violet eyes.

"I need to speak to the king." He said confidently.

"Well, a lotta people wanna speak to the king, doesn't mean they get to." The violet eyes boy swung him, about to throw him down the stairs, when--

"It's about the mermaid!" Pan said.

The boy lifted pan by his collar so they were eye-to-eye. "How da you know about the mermaid."

"I'll tell them all what your gonna do ta her if you don't let me in." Pan said.

The boy looked up at another guard, that seemed to have a higher rank than him (judging by their armour), as if looking for advice.

The other guard sighed. "Let him in."

"Are you sure, commander?" Said the violet eyed one.

"Quite sure," he said. "I was on the boat with Tedros, and he told me his father wasn't keen on letting this news out."

The commander grabbed Peter by the shirt and dragged him in

Chaddick knocked on the door to the thrown room, with the boy in green following behind him. Chaddick assumed that he was from Neverland, given that would be the only way he would know that there was a mermaid in the castle.

The doors were opened by two guards. He believed their names were Nicholas and Tarquin.

"Requesting audience with the king." Chaddick said, confident.

"The king isn't seeing--" Tarquin began.

"It's about the mermaid." Chaddick stopped.

The two guards shared a look.

Chaddick could see Arthur standing on the balcony looking out at the sea. Tarquin nodded and walked over him to deliver the request.

"I doubt he'd see you now, commander." Nicholas, looking over at Tarquin speaking to the king, quite clearly walking on eggshells and Chaddick didn't know why.

"Why is that?" Chaddick frowned.

"He had a falling out with his son at dinner last night." Nicholas said. "He's barely spoken since."
