Jungkook,Misaki, and her dad were sitting on the living room. There was an awkward atmosphere after she introduced her boyfriend to her dad.Jungkook was nervous around him and it was visible in his face. Her dad kept staring at him but didn't say a word.This was the time for Misaki to speak again and break the silence.

"Dad! Stop scaring him with your stares"

With raised eyebrows, her dad started, "Jungkook..hmm...thats your name. I heard it a countless times,you're finally here"

"Uh..yes,Mr.Park" Jungkook said bowing while he was still sitting

"Don't you disapprove him,dad" Misaki said

"you're not a kid anymore,I see" Her dad stated

"you realised that just now?" She rolled her eyes "dad,you know he's a nice guy"

"of course,as I know he's a nice guy,I'm against this relationship" Her dad said

"what do you mean?" she asked. Jugkook was left confused as well.

"I didn't knew you had low standards,Jungkook" Her dad said,smiling

"Dad!" Misaki whined

"but Mr.Park, she's of high standard" Jungkook said

"exactly" Misaki agreed while avoiding eye contact with her dad

"come to your senses,young boy. Why did you choose her out of all the girls? You could've done so much better" Her dad dramatically sighed

Misaki eyed her dad and Jungkook suppressed his laugh.

"listen,you're handome and good looking. It's not too late for you to find someone decent"

"you didn't tell me I was adopted!" Misaki shouted which made Jungkook chuckle, "are you laughing? you're having fun,huh!" Misaki eyed Jungkook

"what can I say if your standards aren't high" Her dad started laughing hard,"Wanna help me in preparing lunch?"

"sure,Mr.Park" Jungkook said and stood up from the sofa

"just call me dad already or she'll eat both of us up and there won't even be leftovers" Her dad joked around

"I'll get to you for embarrassing me infront of my boyfriend" Misaki pouted

"my daughter is cute tho" her dad said

"thats because she's your daughter" Jungkook added

"ayy,true ,true!" Her dad was so happy at that moment.

"you two have not been regular here,especially you,Itzayana" the owner said

"sorry ma'am,there were a lot of unexpected events that took place,that is why" Itzayana said

As she disguised herself in the first place to work there,she havn't revealed her real name yet.

"I can excuse Misaki,but you've taken countless leaves" the owner said

"ma'am,I still did her work,so you can excuse her,too" Misaki stepped up

Another worker spoke up, "its not like they actually care about the shop or any of us anyway" and went away

"she may look cute but she has a bit of a dark side,don't let it get to you two. I know that working at a place like this isn't ideal for you two but you two are hard workers and a big help too" The owner changed her mind,and said assuring both of them
