Katerina POV

Katerina was not ready to start her first day in a High school full of people like her. Would she be judged by what she wore, or maybe get bullied? These were the thoughts running through her mind as she looked in the mirror. Wearing a black jacket and jeans with combat boots she made her way to school. I have yet to buy a car so the bus would do for now.

I can't believe this is the school, it is more like a castle than anything else.

As soon as she entered, the headmistress headed her way. "Are you lost, Dear?"

" Ummm well I'm new and I was on my way to the main office and I kind of got lost."

"Oh, don't worry dear, it happens to the best of us, anyway welcome to Night high where you will be for the next four years of your life. I know it will be difficult at first but everyone here is very welcoming."

Yeah, she doesn't believe that she just step foot in this school and already people are staring at her as if she was a rogue.

Students POV:

Who is the new girl? Check her out man, a total hot babe! She needs to know her place at this school.

Katerina POV:

Okay just relax, keep your head down and don't make eye contact with anyone. Just finish 1st-period Physics two more classes to go for the day and I will be able to go to my dorm. Hopefully, I don't share it with anyone.

Going from physics to math back to back was just too much on a first day but there was nothing worse than entering a cafeteria full of judgmental high school students.

I still don't know anyone but it's not like I've been trying to make simple conversation, either. I want these four years to go by without any trouble.

OK! I have to calm down. It shouldn't be a problem Katerina, just go pick up the damn food and go to the library for some peace and quiet and I'll be there without all the annoying high schoolers looking at my every move.

Reblies POV:

Nevaeh: Hey guys let's call the new girl over. Look at her, she is all alone. It's sad, and she seems nice. It'll be fun to meet a possible new friend.

Ariella: You think everybody is nice, you should start trusting people less, we don't know if she will back stab us or worse; make us get detention.

Amaryllis: No, Nevaeh is right. We should call her over, she seems lonely and we are social people. Come on who is going to call her over.

* Everybody turns to Clarista*

Clarista: Okay yeah fine, send the one that will make a fool of herself. Hey, New Girl, why don't you come to sit with us.

Katerina:

Are they talking to me? why would they call me like that if they don't know me? Maybe I can just continue walking and they won't follow me.

Reblies:

Clarista: Why would she ignore us like that. Girls, she is hiding something, let's follow her.

Amaryllis: Agreed! Let's go.

Katerina continued walking, feeling like someone was following her. She slowly turns and hides in the wall. BOOM! she comes out to surprise the four nosy girls.

Katerina: What are you guys doing, following me like some creeps ?

Ariella: Well, we called you and you didn't answer. It seemed suspicious.

Katerina: Why, cause I wanted to be alone?

Clarista: Not really, we just needed an excuse to meet you. You see, here people are categorized by where they fit in. The wolfs, vampires, fairies, succubus, and any other supernatural creature has their own group.

Katerina: She didn't want to stop and chat with the girls, but her curiosity got the better of her, and it was a new start, maybe she could meet people and trust someone other than herself. They don't need to know her past.

This is what she had been waiting for..... A new start
