As we enter the estate, the maids all rush towards us signaling us to our rooms. Each of us had a room in the same hall, a fight waiting to happen. Yet, Athan disappeared as soon as we got in. Has he been here before? Why did the soldiers look at him for permission? Ughhhh, so many questions and no one answers them.

Entering the room, I gasp at the beauty of it, with a queen-size bed overflowing with soft, cuddly pillows, and space that was overwhelming. The room was made for a queen. Sitting at the edge of the bed throwing myself back, I had made my mind in finding out who was Athan Dumitru. While we are in the mission I will spy on him.

"Bozo get out," screamed Amaryllis at Elijah who had entered her room while she was showering.

The replies entered her room ushering a sad puppy dog eyed Elijah out.

All the guys opened their door upon hearing the commotion, as they noticed Elijah grumpily stomping to his room, they burst with laughter. Everyone goes back into their room to prepare for dinner.

Later in the night, everyone went down to the dining hall for dinner. While we all sat down, I noticed that Athan was at the head of the table which was weird considering those at the head are usually the owners of the house, and considering this situation, it would be the king or anyone related to him.

I suspiciously looked at him while sitting down in my chair, but at that moment he intensely glanced at me with his mysterious red eyes and threw me a menacing glare.

I was slowly starting to get offended by his glares since that's apparently the only thing he knows how to do when directing his eyes towards me. I slowly looked away when the entrees commenced rolling out of the kitchen. The servants put all the entree dishes and side dishes on the long rectangular table and started serving us. I thanked them when they gave me my food and we all started eating until we were halted by the voice of the mysterious boy, himself.

Athan: Very Well, we should begin by conversing about the mission we have been given. We should commence by catching the leader "Austin". So far, the only information we have on him is that he lives in the countryside of Romania and he has been after a woman for years and he will do anything to get her.  He's a vampire that's lost his humanity and his only mission is to catch this person, but what we need to know is why. That's why my da- I mean the king asked the headmistress for help and that's why we're here. So, we'll start our mission officially in two days from now, enjoy the castle and all it has to offer because once we start, it will be hell.

All of us acknowledge him but I stared at him weirdly since he stuttered and it looked like he was gonna say something but stopped himself. He turned to glare back at me again and this time I glared back too until Clarista called my name.

Clarista: Katerina, do you want to have a sleepover. We were all talking about it and thought it would be a good idea. What do you think?

Katerina: Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I smiled at her and refused to look at Athan although she could still feel his intense glare.

Ariella treatments them, "Don't annoy us tonight and stay away cause  if any of you guys do anything that I just said not to do, I'll cut off your precious parts."

All the girls get up to leave while laughing at the guy's horror and scared expressions.

~Sleepover Time~

Katerina was looking at all her newfound friends with a bemused smile on her face. She never thought she would be able to feel human again till she found these girls.

Claritsa was annoying Ariella by being her talkative and excited self as usual until Ariella snapped at her. Claritsa walked sadly towards where the bed was and sulked.

Nevaeh was laying down on the carpeted floor with her book next to her and trying to calm an annoyed Ariella.

Amaryllis was looking at the scene being played out with an amused smile on her face.

Katerina: Ok guys, so let's watch a movie. What do you guys want to watch?

Amaryllis: Whatever, it doesn't matter. But, no scary movies. You know I can't deal with those.

Claritsa proclaimed with an evil smirk: Ok, then we can watch 'The Lost Bride'. It's not scary.

They all looked at each other and nodded to the idea.

~1 Hour Later~

Ariella: YOU LIAR! YOU SAID IT WASN'T GOING TO BE SCARY. WAS THAT YOUR WAY OF GETTING BACK AT ME?

Claritsa was laughing uncontrollably while Ariella chased after her until they both stumbled and Ariella started tickling her.

Claritsa: Ok, ok, ok... I surrender.

The other girls were watching the scene with smirks on their faces and each took hold of some pillows.

Amaryllis: PILLOW FIGHT!

After a few minutes of playing around, they all tumbled to the floor looking exhausted and trying to catch their breath.

Katerina: So, guys that was fun.

The girls all chuckled and nodded their heads.

Katerina: So, what's up with this feud that you all have with the guys?

Amaryllis: Ugh, let's not even go there. They are the worst and most annoying guys in the school. They always pick on us for no reason. The worst of them is Elijah. He's the most annoying and frustrating of them. I just want to punch his pretty little face every time I see him.

Amaryllis was red with anger when she finished speaking and everyone looked at each other.

Claritsa: Yeah, that's right. They are the worst guys on the universe especially Malik. I just want to chew that smirky smile off of his damn face.

Nevaeh: Ok guys, we have to calm down. Breathe. I think we should sleep it off.

They all nodded and started getting ready to sleep.

They all told their good nights in unison.

Katerina couldn't fall asleep as always. Just thinking about closing her eyes and letting her thoughts free just gave her the chills.

She slowly got up from the bed and took towards the door. She was making her way towards the kitchen but got lost. She somehow found her way in the king's quarter and saw a pair of red mysterious eyes, the same as a certain someone's.

The mysterious eyes were no longer there and all that Katerina saw was darkness but she still felt a presence. She swiftly turned around and pushed her arm forward but it was taken hold off and that's when she saw those eyes again.

Katerina: Why were you hiding in the shadows?

Athan: How did you see me? You aren't supposed to see me when I hide.

Katerina: I felt you as you came behind me.

Athan: What? You aren't supposed to feel me.

Athan thought, "Only my beloved can feel me, or am I wrong?"

He left without saying anything else and Katerina just looked at him walking away with an annoyed face.

Katerina thought, "Did he just ignore me?"
