angels are problematic

"Gabriel! Please answer me, are you okay!" I yell as he lies there nearly motionless in my lap. Blood exiting his body as fast as a flowing river.

"P-Poison," he whispers.

My eyes widen. They used poison?! "Remiel!" I scream as loud as I can.

"Go away you idiots! That deal I offered is off the table, I suggest you run," Remiel mutters.

Rage fuels my fire and causes my voice to explode louder than I thought possible. "How dare you stand there and act as if your guards didn't just stab Gabriel, a guardian angel!"

Remiel turns around with anger in his eyes. "You dare blame me for him getting injured when you are the invaders who attacked us! That's a joke!"

I stare at him intensely. "Charity? You're the virtue of bullshit! You stand there and blame people with a petty attitude without giving anyone a chance to redeem themselves. If anyone doesn't understand how their actions affect others, it's you! Allowing Gay Heaven to perish because of your petty grudge is causing thousands of people to be taken away from their homes. You're causing a thousand lives to suffer because you're acting like a damn brat! I may not know what happened, but if your name is Zera, then I have nothing to learn from you. She is the one that was hurt by him, not you. Now, a thousand people will be hurt directly by your decision to be petty and hold a grudge! Not only that, you're going to let Gabriel die because your little grudge too! Charity? Generosity? That's a joke!" I shout.

Remiel stares at me in silence. The intensity fills the salty sea air, but I don't back down. I won't ever back down for Gabriel. My whole life, I've never said much went I was hurt. When my parents chose drugs over me, or when everyone made homophobic comments to me. Always keeping it in, it's time for me to let it go and chose me. Chose to love myself and everyone connected to me. So for that reason, I will never back down.

"My sister might be able to do something about the injury. For now, wrap this around the wound and get out of my sight," Remiel throws a white beach towel to me,

I bite my lip, I guess I'll take what I can get. "Alejandro, we're going now and don't you dare do anything stupid again!" I shout, tying the towel around Gabriel's wound.

"S-Sorry. I really didn't mean for this to happen, I just wanted him to see that Michael was the one causing all these problems!" Alejandro apologizes.

I let out a heavy sigh. "Let's worry about apologies later. For now, help him on to my back."

Alejandro helps me get Gabriel to a piggyback position on my back and I start to walk slowly back to Lady Gaga.

"I'll get Lady Gaga ready for take off," Alejandro runs ahead to prepare to leave. As we get closer, I see Callisto running toward me.

"Connor! Is Gabriel okay?" Callisto asks with wide eyes.

"No, he got stabbed and the spear was poisoned," I grunt.

Callisto gasps. "Poisoned and stabbed? By Remiel? Or did Michael come by?"

"Remiel's guards after they felt threatened by Alejandro and before that we had already ran into Michael who was trying to sabotage us as per usual," I complain.

Callisto looks at the sand with a sad face. "Sorry I wasn't there."

"No, it's actually better that way. I wouldn't want you ending up like Gabriel," I mutter. It's starting to get difficult to carry him. It's a pretty long walk and all his damn muscle makes it hard to carry him a long distance. I'm used to only carrying Callisto, who's light as a feather.
