3 months later

donghyuck sat on mimhyung's lap, playing with the older's fingers.

"minhyung, when are you ever gonna ask me out?" donghyuck thought silently to himself.

it was very clear what the two felt to each other even for themselves. however, it seemed as if minhyung was too scared to ask the younger out.

it had been three months since the accident and everything had settled down, nothing exciting had happened.

other than the fact minhyung, donghyuck, jaehyun and taeyong were staying together now.

it cane as a shock to the three who had just came out of the hospital. even more so for mark as he was worried about their old apartment.

the moment donghyuck had announced that all three would be staying with him, he was engulfed in a tearful hug and many many 'thank you's.

it was a really beautiful sight.

which now brings us to the present moment.

"donghyuck?" mark unsurely called out. the way mark spoke or just said his name sent thousands of butterflies to donghyuck's stomach. seriously, it was like a zoo.

"yeah?" donghyuck answered, still distracted by how veiny the older's hands were. its as if having veiny hands was a gene since both taeyong and mark had it.

"what are we?" mark asked, using his other hand to play with donghyuck's hair.

"what do you want us to be?" donghyuck asked back, scared mark would say that he wanted them to remain as friends.

mark flipped donghyuck around on his lap, donghyuck wrapping his legs around mark's waist.

"would you like to be my boyfriend?"

"i would love to."

mark latched his lips onto donghyuck's and let his feelings take over. the kiss was rather shy and innocent until someone started biting on the other's lips.

"DONT HAVE SEX ON THE COUCH!" taeyong screamed, throwing the slipper at them and successfully hitting mark on the head.

"oww." mark pouted, causing donghyuck to laugh and kiss his head.

mark flushed but still leaned in and whispered into donghyuck's ear. "this is the kind of love you can only dream of. babe."
