Chapter 1: The Truth

Marinette's POV

"Luka, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"We need to talk, about everything." He replies.

"What are you talking about? I mean, the group is good, I love Adrien, we're friends. End of story." I said.

"No it's not that Marinette. It's Adrien. I feel like he might be changing you."

I have no idea what this boy is talking about, but what I know is that it's getting on my nerves. So, I said this in the calmest way possible.

"Look, I really don't care if you're jealous of me and Adrien, and I understand that you're trying to look out for me, but I'm fine. He's not changing me. What we, or what this is between us, is nothing else but a friendship. I'm over the thought of you thinking we're dating."

I could tell he was slightly hurt by what I said, but honestly, he should listen to my opinion. "I understand, Marinette. I apologize for my stupidity." He said, and left my room.

When he left, I wanted to burst into laughter but at the same time, tears of sadness. "Are you okay?" Tikki asked.

"Yeah, I just need a bit of motivation. And I think I know just the person. Tikki, Spots on!"

I transformed into Ladybug and used my yo yo yo to go through Adrien's room window. I knocked on it gently, Adrien looked and smiled. I opened the window and came inside with a sad look on my face.

"Ladybug, what are you doing here?" He asked with concern.

I sighed. "Spots off." I said and sat on his couch. "It's just, I feel like I'm making a mistake."

"What do you mean, Bugaboo?"

"Well, I, just don't know how I feel about people anymore. It's like my feelings get confusing now."

"You know Marinette, there are going to be people out there that make you feel weird, but you should focus on the people who you know that you have that feeling for them."

"I guess."

"Is this about Luka?" He asked.

I kept quiet, but I assumed he got the memo.

"I know how you feel. But I can help you out, only if you let me." He said.

I looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"Let me be your boyfriend, for real this time. I promise that nothing else will get in the way."

"Uh, I don't know. I'm kind of going through a lot right now, us being a thing can wait."

"But you already know how you feel about me, right?"

"Yes."

"Then, there's no problem. And besides, we could keep it a secret if you want." He said coming close to me.

I slightly pushed his head away. "Alright, but don't make a big scene."

"That's all I ask. You feeling better?" He asked.

"A little bit. Thanks for being here for me." I said.

"At your service, M'lady." He replied.

I laughed and groaned at the same time. "Anyway, I have to go. My mom wants me to be at the bakery at 4."

"It's only 2. We've got time." Adrien smirked.

"Yeah, no I have to go. And don't even think about it." I said firmly.

"Okay, your choice. See you later."

"Bye Adrien." I said and hugged him.

A/N: Hey everyone, since I changed the plot of this Story, there is a tiny bit more of Adrienette in this story, but I promise that I'll add more Lukanette into it. I apologize for the lack of Lukanette in this chapter, Hope you all understand.
