In the days before I met you, I was broken
I was living a sort of half life
I ate and slept and went to school
But that was all I did
My life lacked joy
And without joy there is no color in life
I felt empty
I felt broken
And I was tired
But your words
We're able to restore me
We're enough to bring all the colors rushing back in an instant
Suddenly I could hear all the little things and find happiness in them
You are my joy
And I can't thank anyone or anything enough for bringing me to you
And I know i don't deserve the wonderful person that is you
I have you by some sheer miracle
I don't know how to show my love to you
I never do know how
So just know I love you
And I hope you love me to
