What if I hadn't seen you
The way I did
For the first time.
The dingy street and the lonely lane,
Didn't scare me much.
But the next thing I saw
Is a picture stuck in my brain.
The air around was still, like you.
But also it was bloody and
Screamed crime
Also just like you.
I couldn't bare to see your nakedness,
Which was terrifying
To witness.
But I stood there gazing
The humanity's madness.
Thankfully I was alone,
Therefore my gut was undisturbed.
I called for help
Creating an example
Which nobody follows.
I rescued you and you did
The same for me.
As I escaped the fear of
Helping a rape victim's family.
You almost reached the abode.
This sad world called you back.
There was a fight unfinished
On which you were aboard.
Whoever did this to you
Have a forever to atone.
Together we will
Make sure of it as they
Deserve to have their lives torn.
Our start was the worst way possible.
But here you are being a hero,
And all I want to do
Is to make it is less miserable.
