I wrote this story almost a year ago and I'm in a way rewriting the entire thing. I'm slightly changing the plot and changing many things about the characters.
I really didn't want to give up on this book so here I am, trying to fix it.

Naruto awoke in the middle of the night from a horrid nightmare. It was the same nightmare he had had a few weeks ago. He sat in the darkness, mortified, debating if he should text Sasuke or not. But to his surprise, he looked to his side and saw Sasuke's hair, dimly lit by the moonlight shining through his window. His mother had spent the night at another random guy's house, meaning Naruto could invite Sasuke over freely. He totally forgot about the night before. Naruto and Sasuke had spent all day together but then a thunderstorm took over. Turns out, Sasuke is terrified of thunder. When the storm was coming Sasuke started to freak out. He grabbed onto Naruto for dear life. Naruto just walked to the nearest house, which happened to be his.
Naruto tried to forget about his nightmare but the image of his bloody mother was enough to scare the shit out of anyone. He started to hyperventilate. Panic attack? Anxiety attack? God knows, all Naruto knew was that he needed help.
"S-Sasuke, I need help! Please. I don't know what to do." Naruto half yelled as loud as he could at the moment. Which wasn't very loud given on the fact that he could hardly breath.
Sasuke sat up slowly and sleepily until he saw Naruto.
"Christ Naruto, are you okay?" Sasuke asked, worried. "Uh, calm down Naruto. Take deep breaths!"
Naruto tried to breath but he still couldn't. He couldn't stop thinking about the dream. Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto, trying to calm him down. He obviously didn't know what to do in these types of situations. Naruto started to calm down and Sasuke let go.
"Don't scare me like that, idiot." Sasuke asked after comforting Naruto.
"Ehehe, sorry Sasuke." Naruto sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
"What the hell happened?" Sasuke asked.
"Just some dumb nightmare." Naruto shrugged.
"Must not have been that dumb." Sasuke put emphasis on the 'that' in his sentence. He wanted to pry but decided not to ask.
"Sorry." Sasuke said sadly.
"You don't have to be sorry! You didn't do anything!"
"Eh."
Thunder struck in the distance causing Sasuke to jump and cling to Naruto.
"Who knew you of all people you were scared of thunder and lightning." Naruto whispered.
"Shut up, Naruto."
"Wuss." Naruto said out of the blue.
"Shut. Up."
"Fine jeez! I'm going to try and go back to sleep." Naruto said as he gently pushed Sasuke away and lied down.
Naruto wasn't going to sleep. How could he? He couldn't get the image out of his head so he lied awake. Sasuke eventually fell asleep with his arms around Naruto.
Naruto eventually dozed off at around three am.

(A/N I don't know. I feel like this was a trash chapter. But I have a better idea for another day. Oof. No comment.
