A/N : I decided to write this creepy one-shot set in Victorian London and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out! I hope you love this one!

The darkness had enveloped the city of London. The cold gusts of wind howled like the large grey wolves of the hinterland, forcing the moon into its hideout.

The eerie sounds of the wailing mistral was accompanied by the sound of a beautiful black stallion as he cantered and galloped along the neatly paved streets, surrounded by a row of shut and deserted emporiums of different sorts.

The stallion was drawing a gilded carriage with wheels that creaked and groaned as it travelled along the brick road. He ran along as the coachman whipped him on the flank.

Seated inside the carriage was Jimin, a young man of twenty. He peered through the windows of the carriage, gazing at the emporiums and the roads in front of him, which were deserted as usual since it was the witching hour.

Suddenly, the carriage came to a halt. A feeling of dread enveloped Jimin.

"Excuse me, Mr Min," he said in a trembling voice, "Would you mind telling me what the matter is? Why have we stopped here?"

There was no answer.

"Mr Min?" he called, sticking his head out of one of the windows.

"The end is certainly near, my dear," said a hoarse male voice. Thunder began to rumble in the distance.

"Uh, hello?" said Jimin feebly.

"The end is near," he rasped again.

Suddenly, lightning flashed, lighting up the sky. Thunder rumbled loudly and violently. It began to rain heavily. As soon as Mr Min turned around, Jimin let out a scream.

His face was devoid of eyes and blood streamed down his face from his empty eye sockets and his mouth.

The stallion panicked. He pranced his front legs in the air and reared his head fearfully. He began to gallop at top speed.

Jimin felt too terrified to jump out of the carriage, but he wasn't safe. He had to escape from the terrifying fiend who once was his coachman.

He tried to open the carriage door, but it was locked and he couldn't get out, so he decided to climb out of the window, even though he would suffer from injuries as the carriage was travelling at a high speed.

He had just managed to push half of his body out of the carriage through the window when the pale hand of Mr Min seized him by the wrist. He screamed once again and hit him on the head with his cane. The coachman went limp and fell from his seat. Then, Jimin managed to jump out of the carriage.

Jimin watched as the stallion continued to gallop with the carriage behind him before he finally disappeared from view.

Fortunately, his house was nearby, so he sprinted all the way home as fast as his legs could carry him, lifting up his soaked, baggy pants to avoid tripping over them.

I must tell Taehyung all about my encounter with that terrifying fiend, Jimin thought to himself.

As soon as he reached home, he lit a candle and carried it all the way to his room with a trembling hand. He smiled upon seeing his most trusted servant, who lay in bed, sleeping peacefully.

"Oh, Taehyung," he said in a singsong manner, "You will certainly not believe-"

All of a sudden, in a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder, Taehyung suddenly appeared before Jimin with the same expression as the coachman - devoid of eyes, blood flowing down his face from his hollow eye sockets and mouth.

Jimin threw the candle in the air and screamed. He turned around and tried to run away, but he tripped and fell down. The candle fell on the floor, causing the room behind him to burst into flames.

He tried to get up and escape, but he felt an invisible force dragging him towards the fire. He grabbed the doorframe tightly to avoid getting burnt.

Taehyung suddenly appeared in front of Jimin, the bones of his neck cracking with every movement.

"The end is certainly near," rasped the voice once again. It seemed to come from Taehyung.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Jimin wailed.

The possessed servant laughed. It was terrifying enough to send chills down Jimin's spine.

"Please, let go of me!" he begged.

Suddenly, Jimin was sent flying into the burning room. The flames began to eat at his body like a pack of hungry wolves surrounding their kill. The last thing he could hear was the raspy laughter before the world around him was engulfed within the darkness and the oppressive silence bore down upon him as he disintegrated into a pile of ash.
