You arrived home from Christmas shopping and carried all of the bags in my arms and place them on the kitchen table.
Taylor is in the studio today and won't be back home until later night so now is a perfect opportunity to wrap Christmas presents while she is out.
You get some Christmas wrapping paper, scissors, and tape. You've been wrapping Christmas presents since you were young teenager so youve gotten pretty good at wrapping Christmas presents. They always come out so perfect with the wrapper tightly around the box.
You start wrapping the new slippers you gotten Taylor. Once you were done cutting the paper you taped all the places you needed and put a small bow on it. You wrote on the tag and place it under the Christmas tree.
You looked underneath the tree and see there is already a Christmas present underneath.
Ugh Taylor started before me again.
You thought finally this time you get to be the first one to start wrapping Christmas presents this year but Taylor is always ahead of you.
Taylor buys Christmas presents months before it's even cold outside.
You finish wrapping all of the presents and put the last one underneath the tree. You also move some of the presents around so they all fit nicely.
I can't wait until Christmas when she opens these!
What should I do now?
You sit on the couch to turn on Netflix to watch a Christmas movie.
An hour later I hear the front door open,
"Hey baby I'm home!" Taylor yells.
Taylor walks into the living room and I get up to give her a hug and a kiss.
"Hi Taylor. I missed you." You said.
"I missed you too. What did you do today?" Taylor asked.
Taylor looked over at the tree and see's all of the presents underneath the tree.
She gasps, "I see someone was busy helping Santa." Taylor said looking back at me.
"Don't look at me. I don't know how they got there." You said innocently laughing.
"I guess I have to get busy on shopping for you." Taylor said.
"Do you need help wrapping them when you get home?" You teased.
"No. I can wrap them all by myself. And I better not see you try to peak." Taylor said sitting down on the couch.
You sit down on the couch next to her and continue to watch the movie.
