Chapter 10

I was not looking forward to today at all. Apparently Elena had Damon compel Jeremy and Jenna to leave Mystic Falls without a second thought because Klaus will be coming to town soon. This means now I have to figure out a way to save everyone in town from the big bad on my own. Elena is going around convincing everyone that this was for the best. I went and hired some bodyguard hunters to protect Jenna and Jeremy while they are in Denver. I was going through any and all grimoires I could find to try and save Elena but protect the rest of us as well. I decided to read Elena's journal. As I was reading I realized that the Scooby gang had daggered Elijah and Elijah's witches were trying to wake him up and get him back. I ran out to find Mr. Martin and Luke. I could feel something was going to go wrong. I smelled smoke. I came into the apartment to Luke being on fire. 

"Agumenti!" I shouted putting out Luke

Luke was screaming in pure agony. Mr. Martin stared at me.

Heal what has been hurt 

Change the fates design 

Save what has been lost 

Bring back what once was mine

I chanted over and over trying desperately to save Luke. Finally Luke was looking mostly healthy. 

"Thank you Tangled for that glorious idea." I thought before I turned to Mr. Martin. 

"The next time you wish something done risk your own life not your son's." I sneered 

"Elijah is the only way to get my daughter back." he said 

"And you nearly lost your son in the process. Instead of worrying about the daughter who chose to follow Klaus you nearly killed your son because you are completely delusional." 

Mr. Martin was extremely pale. I stood. 

"I have questions for Elijah Mikaelson. I have it under good authority that Elena will be releasing him today and knowing my sister she will attempt to renegotiate her deal."

Mr. Martin merely nodded before standing and leading me to the back room to a trunk. 

"Do you have a copying spell?" he asked 

"of course." I said 

"These may come in handy all I ask is help in bringing back my daughter. She played with arts that she was neither prepared or looking for. It will kill her as it did her mother once she got addicted."

I easily copied all the books and banished them to my hide away back home. I left and waited for the call that I knew would be coming from Damon. I spoke with Jeremy and Jenna as they were enjoying Denver for a couple hours when the call came to meet at the Salvatore house. When i walked in I saw Elijah and Elena before the rest away from them. I listened as Elijah told of the elixir that could bring a person back from the dead. I took it from him and let my magic scan it. It was similar to Harry Potter's Elixir of Life. I had no idea such a thing was real. I tuned out when Damon and Elena started arguing. Elijah had this elixir for 500 years and their must have been a reason. Before long Damon stormed out and Stefan was comforting Elena. I followed Elijah outside already knowing what Damon was going to do. I waited for the ruckus to begin before talking to Elijah. Damon rushed past us and I watched him drive away. 

"Since you no longer have a need for this potion you mind if I hold on to it?" I asked Elijah

"You may have it, Ms. Gilbert." he said
