So I drive off school campus and its 5:45 ,I am anxious for this date. For some reason I feel different going on this date. It's like I actually like him and not in a sexual way, it's weird but I like it .
I pull up to the restaurant parking lot and its name is some Italian word I can't pronounce and it looks very nice ,inside. I walk in a Joe is sitting there at a table looking at the menu.
He is wearing a a dark gray tee shirt and a pair of faded jeans that were faded when he bought them kind of jeans. "He's so hot"I think to myself as I walk toward him.
He looks up from his menu and catches a glimpse of me and hops right out of his chair.
" I almost though you wouldn't come". He says smiling with that sexy smile.
"Well you said 6:30 and its 6:10, I thought I would be waiting for you."
"I could have swore I said 6:00....oh well...."he said trying to get off the subject.
"How has your day gone so far"
"Went from pretty great to pretty shitty"I say hoping he asks why.
"Why?"
"Well my friend Caspar fucked up"
"How?"he says chuckling
"Well... He was having sex and the God damn condom broke."
"Shit"he said sincerely like he know how bad it feels.
"Yep.....Its sucks"
"..............."
"Are you a virgin"he says out of nowhere.
"Why!" I say just about to ask the same thing.
"Just answer, I know it is not polite to ask on a first date but I was just so curious". He said desperately.
".......yes I am......it's pretty pathetic."
"....I am too...."he says in sympathy to make me feel better.
"Are you serious"
"Yeah...."
"Well now that we got that out of the way, let's order some Italian food"
He said trying to make it less awkward.
The food looks good on the menu but I decided to just go with the most common of the Italian foods,spaghetti and Joe went with lasagna another common Italian food. I think those are the only ones on the menu I recognized.
"That is a very pretty dress.... It's the perfect shade of blue". He says trying to break the silence.
"Thank you..blue is my favorite color"
"That is my favorite color too"he says very excitedly.
"Let's play twenty questions!"
"What "I say kind of confused.
Its where I ask you twenty questions about you. Like you favorite color or your middle name its to get to know you better".
"Alright, ask away I have nothing to hide".
"Ummmm"
1."Is your hair naturally blonde?"
"Yea, it has faded over the years but it has always been blonde."
2."Do you ever want kids?"
"Yes, I really love kid I'm just not having one any time soon..just want to live my life for now".
That question makes me think of Katie and Caspar, there lives are over before they barely started.
We got to question 17 and decided to leave. he said he would ask me the other three questions another time.
"I had fun, lets do this again"I say cheerfully.
"Yea, I would like that a lot "
Right as I turn around to leave he grabs my hand pulling me into his chest and kisses me. I don't pull away, I kiss him back. It lasted for about 10 seconds and then we stop. I walk away from him. "Goodnight "he says.
"Goodnight ".
