When she said that I kind of had this little party in my head but at the same time she looked to sure of it. Like she didn't care that she was ruining a baby's chance at life. She was to confident and I didn't like that.
"If your going to go through with this at least tell Caspar"her mother said clearly against this but knowing she won't change her mind.
"Okay"she said happily.
We go to her room and I give the note to her.
"It's from Caspar..... ".
She opens it slowly and sits down on the bed. It says....
Dear, Katie
I love you so much. I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused you. There are to many things to be sorry for so I will just get right to the point.......
I want to raise this baby with you. I will be the best father I can. I will love this baby as much as I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I bet marriage is the last thing on your mind but I love you. If you want to leave me that will be okay but I promised myself I would ask you this question.........Will you marry me?

She started crying and hands it to me. I read it and I am happy for her but she's not crying happy tears.
"He wants me to have the baby. I don't want........"she starts sobbing and I hug her.
" It's your choice....do what makes you happy" I tell her.
We drive over to Caspar's to tell him the news and straighten everything out.
We pull up to the drive way and Caspar is standing on the porch. Katie runs out of the car and hugs Caspar. I calmly walk out of the car and walk over to Caspar and Katie who are now making out. They stop kissing.
"I have good news your not going to be a father.....I'm getting an abortion."She says happily which disturbs me.
"But did you read the note...I want to be a father....I wanted to raise a family and marry you....don't you want that?"he says passionately.
"I want a life with you...and only you...I don't want this child....what would we do for money...I'm getting an abortion"
"I can't have a life with someone who destroys one..... if you go though with this I will no longer love you.the girl I know doesn't give up when things get tough.....she fights....she fucking fights.....what happened to that girl?". Tears are falling off his cheeks and down on to his shirt. I can tell this is hard for him.
"People change....I changed"She says
I guess this is....goodbye?He says.
She walks away leaving Caspar with no answer and tears in his eyes. She is right she has change and it isn't for the better. Just because she can choose to destroy a life doesn't mean she should.
