Their story {Spinel x Reader} (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

A heavy gust of wind hit all of the gems and you. You see Steven wince as he begins to stand up with you and the gems. Everyone, including you, gaze into the sky. The sky, that was clear as crystal before, is now coded in dark storm clouds. Was it about to rain in the middle of the day? The center of the storm cleared out to reveal, what you think, is some sort of spaceship. 

As you and the gems stared at the unidentified flying object (UFO lol), many questions are running through your head. And none of them have real answers. What?! What is that thing? Is it a ship? Do the Diamonds have anything to do with this? Why is it pink? And glowing?? Why the hell--?  Your thoughts are quickly interrupted with a high pitched voice, filling the tense air. 

"Hey! Are you, Steven Universe?", the shadowy figure shouted atop of the spacecraft. You turn to Steven, he stares at you. He continuously watches you, searching for answers. You slowly shake your head at him. He directs his attention towards the dark foe, putting his hands behind his back. "Um, yes?" He says nervously. You gave him the 'Why the fuck did you just say yes?' face. He doesn't look back but he felt your glare. 

"Perfect...", squeaked the new enemy, with a smirk. You see the person, who you now realize is an obvious gem, turn their pinky finger into a horn-like shape. She blew into it, creating a deep fog horn sound. It hurt your ears slightly, causing you to cover them. Looking back up into the sky, you see the ship's underside quickly sharpen to a point. 

Sudden fear shot through your system. "Scatter!" you shouted towards the gems. All five of you begin to run a good distance away, hoping to escape the danger. Running for your life, you turn around to see the massive weapon, continuously moving towards the planet. It began to sprout legs and clamp onto the hillside, and sooner than you expected, the sharp end of the machine just shot itself into the ground. 

You and the gems reach a safe distance, near the lighthouse. "Hey! Nice park job dingus!", Amethyst yelled angrily. Not a second later, the glowing injector shot a heavy amount of the pink liquid into the planet and bubbles rise to the roof of the inside of it. Shit, It's an injector! And I thought we were finally done with these things! You thought to yourself. 

The mysterious gem then jumped down, to the base of the injector in an almost cartoonish way. You and your friends look up, to gaze at this newfound foe. You cannot help but notice how her gem glimmers, despite it being dark as night, in the center of her chest. It takes the perfect cut of an upside-down heart. You find it awfully beautiful... wait, what? 

She looks upwards for the first time, towards us with a heavy growl and a perfect shit-eating grin. She has a pink complexion, magenta eyes, a small pointy nose, and magenta hair that is styled into a pair of spiky pigtails. She also has three black lines underneath both of her eyes, reminiscent of running mascara. Its a good look for her... for a villain... what the hell?

Her clothing consists of a dark magenta top, puffy pointed hot pink sleeves, puffy magenta shorts, hot pink wrist-length gloves, white stockings and a pair of magenta knee-high pointy boots. This design to her makes her look very similar to a court jester, but in an evil... cute... kind of... way... WTF is going on? 

"Well, well, well, well, well." exclaimed the gem, somehow, puffing up her hand. "Lemme get a look at the menagerie.", shifting her puffed hand to her eye, stretching it into some sort of telescope. Her stretched eye blinked a few times, creepily. But for some reason... It didn't seem to bother you? "You must be Amethyst.", she speaks towards Amethyst, shock plastered to her face. "You must be Garnet.", she said, turning her stare to the fusion. "And Pink Diamond's pearl, well-- She took you with her. Isn't that just...SWELL?!" she exclaimed angrily, gritting through her teeth, retracting her telescope eye. 

"It can't be..." Pearl says in disbelief. But in disbelief of what? She laughs at Pearl's remark. "Hahahaha ohohoho, but it can be, and it is!", she replies, presenting herself. "I gotta new style and a few new toys," she claims, brushing her hair back and smacking the injector with her palm. Why did she look so hot doing that?  You thought to yourself. You internally punch yourself in the gut as you felt your face getting warm. "that are gonna put an end to your 'happily ever after' once and for all!" she contemplated. 

She shifts her gaze towards you, you both meet eye contact. "Oh, and what are you supposed to be?" she asks, swiftly wrapping her arm around you, pulling you towards her. The gems gasp at your small capturing by this mysterious gem. You felt your face getting warmer. "Hmm, a human? A cute one at that... Hahaha...It's funny how she just left for these fragile creatures...!" she says, her last sentence a growl, avoiding everyone's gaze. "Whoa, whoa! T-this has got to be a miss understanding." Steven said, finally stepping forward and speaking up. "In case you haven't heard, I've established peace across the--" He says trying to finish his claim, but is quickly interrupted. 

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I've heard. I've had your little message to the universe, ON LOOP!" she says, stretching her hand outwards, tossing you onto Steven. "Oh my gosh, Steven I'm sorry!" You say trying to get off of him, without hurting him more. The gems, behind you and Steven, summon their weapons in worry. Preparing for a fight. "Oh, I just love that part." She said, retracting her arm back to herself. Why do I hear boss music? You thought to yourself. Wait a fluffin' minute... Did she just called me cute?!

"Where Pink Diamond spends the rest of her days, on this nowhere planet!" she said, filled with acrimonious insanity. "With a bunch of NOBODIES!" she says, partially giggling through most of her sentence. She stretches her arms into the shapes of springs and bouncing off of the base of the injector. The boss music intensifies.
