Their story {Spinel x Reader} (ON HOLD)

Chapter 7

Previously:

"Uh, yes it's fine, but... Can you stay with me, here? I just feel like I need a supporter at the time.", Steven pleaded, Spinel still hanging on his shoulder. "Okay, I suppose that Greg can handle himself...", you thought out loud. "Alrighty then! If its decided, to Little HomeWorld! See you later Greg!", you yell towards him, Spinel looks relieved over something. Did she get attached to you already? 

Now: 

The walking trip to Little HomeWorld was rather short, even though it felt like hours, it was only 5 to 10 minutes. Withing those 5 to 10 minutes, you keep looking back and forth between your destination than to Spinel, occasionally you would catch her looking at you for a split second, soon before she averts her gaze elsewhere with a hot pink blush on her face. You giggle at how cute she was and for how she may or may not feel about you. You were going to ask her something but you forgot when you reached the entrance to Little HomeWorld. It felt rather important. 

You, Steven, Spinel, Ruby, and Sapphire reach the top of a building Bismuth was clearly working on. It still had scaffolding on half of its base. The group of friends make their way towards Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot, who at the moment was gazing at the injector in the distance in slight grief. You and Steven greeted them and explained what had happened.

"She rode in on that?!", Peridot yelled, looking through her binoculars towards the pink injector. "Yeah, she said my human half wouldn't stand a chance against her injector.", Steven explains, whilst you were watching Ruby and Sapphire. Ruby was weary of you presents, but Sapphire... eh, not so much. But something felt missing of everyone here, not just their memories...

"What does that mean?", You heard Lapis ask, walking back towards the group. Bismuth walks in thought, taking your place over toward Ruby and Sapphire, Ruby went back on guard over Bismuth, who meant no harm to the precious Sapphire. "Why don't we just ask her?", Peridot questioned, this question made you realize she didn't seem to be on the roof with Steven and the gems. 

"Well, here's the thing...", Steven explained, but you couldn't care less. You turn around to aimlessly look over the roof for the gem. You began to panic internally, wondering where she could have gone. Was she lost? Where did she go? Is she alright? Why did she leave? Multiple questions began to runs through your head before you heard a faint squeak noise coming from Steven and his shoulder. 

You turn back to see Spinel giggling while she was holding onto Steven's right harm. "Here she is, my new best friend, Spinel.", Steven sighs tiredly, putting a hand behind his head. "A pleasure to meet you all.", Spinel said bowing only to look up to you a winking with a smile. What...? was all you could think of when Spinel made her little flirting sign. You return the sign by winking back. Her cheeks become dusted with a hot pink blush with her mouth slightly agape. What is this warm sensation deep inside?
