Second chapter, still have no idea if it's good but I'm continuing anyways.

You woke up to a hand in your face and a sudden weight on your torso. You jumped from the weight and groaned loudly, finding your mother and your dog. She probably got the dog hyped then told them to jump on you or something.

"mmMMOOoooOOOoomm..." You internally cried. It didn't feel very good. "Why would you do this to mee..." You pushed the playful dog off of you, successfully keeping them from play biting you.

"You wouldn't wake up if I told you to on my own!" Yeah, that was probably right. "Come on. Get up and get dressed, the moving truck will be here at any second."

And eventually you did. You put something on that would be considered for hot weather, but still put on a light weighted and colored jacket since you felt exposed without one. Your (H/c) hair was placed in a messy ponytail (Ignore if you have short hair); You'd probably end up sweating. You were about half way through your routine and starting to stare off at a wall infront of you again until you caught yourself. 'Aparently I have a thing for walls now,' You thought. You mean, technically you weren't wrong since you do appreciate some weird things and-

"(Y/N)!!"

oops.

"Sorry, mom! I'm almost done!" You heard her mumble not so quietly about putting you on meds, as her voice faded. You ignored the comment and quickly finished the rest of your routine as you heard a truck pull up infront of the house.

You quickly ran outside, seeing your mother talking with one of the men. They were probably going to move the furniture in, since you ladies can't. You walked past the two men and got a smaller sized box from the truck and carried it inside. You looked at the sharpie written letters and saw that it was for the dining room, wherever that's gonna be. You simply put the box down in the corner of the room. It was probably a bad idea to take boxes right now, you figured it was gonna be easier to know what boxes go where when the place actually gets filled up first. You walk back outside to see them lifting a couch- er, well, pieces of a couch. We had one of those 'rearrange however you like' couches because my mother is oh so rich, except it was a gift.

You decide to take this time to look around and see if anyone else is outside. Your (E/c) orbs trailed a little ways away, and you see a small child - probably twelve or thirteen - Looking you and your moms way. He seemed to notice your gaze and turned his attention to you. He was wearing a blue jacket with a three-eyed ghost on the front. He had his hood up, the hood having bunny ears that were somehow standing and dark Jeans. His shoes were the same color as his hood. The most noticable feature though was his icy blue eyes and how they stood out on his pale face. From what you could tell, he was glaring at you.

You pulled your eyes away from his when you heard your mother calling you to start taking boxes in. Apparently, you were standing there looking around for quite some time since almost half the rooms were furnished.

°•°•°•

You were in your newly decorated and furnished room. You were quite happy with the outcome of it, you remembered when you saw it you were nearly ecstatic when you found out there was a bay window. You loved those.

You jumped from your bed when you heard your mother call you down, noticing it was quieter than when she would usually do it. You ran downstairs suspecting something was wrong when she stopped you.

"(Y/n), Some neighbors have come to welcome us. I want you to come meet them." You internally groaned. You did not like people, but it would make her happy so you went through with it and walked up to the front door which was cracked open. You felt unusually lightheaded and nervous as you saw a figure of a woman through the small crack. Your mother went to open the door.

. . .

"Hello."

Oh god, there were males. You stared at them, not sure if the nervousness was evident on your face. The person who spoke though was a woman. She looked pretty gothic, having short black hair and pale skin with light green eyeshadow. Her eyes were a light shade of brown and she had a black and green turtleneck dress with the sleeves stopping at her elbows.

The second person stood by her, who had a calm, inviting expression on his face but seemed to have faltered when his eyes met you. He had blonde hair with a dark brown strip in the front and the same colored brown eyes as the woman. His skin wasn't as pale, but he was still pretty light. He had a dark brown and light orangish-brown striped sweater with the sleeves also stopping at his elbows. He seemed to have a black long sleeved turtleneck under that and black jeans with brown shoes.

And then there was a smaller person hiding behind the woman. It was the kid that was looking at you and your mother earlier. He seemed to recognize you as well since he was staring quite intensely at you, glaring, but up close you could see it was mixed with nervousness like yours.

You didn't realize you were staring until your mother unnoticably tapped your back, probably signaling you to introduce yourself. You looked down, not being able to keep eye contact. Your mother spoke up for you.

"This is (Y/n). I'm sorry for her quietness, you see she doesn't really meet new people often." Thanks, mom. The woman piped up saying it was okay and explained herself feeling the need for coming and introducing herself and her family. There was something about seemingly same ages- wait. She is not suggesting what I think, right? My mind snapped back into reality when my mother responded. "Oh, That sounds delightful! She has some problems with making friends and it might be a bit hard especially when she just moved here!" God damnit, no!

My eyes were now trained onto the male at my height. He seemed a bit nervous, but despite that he waved at me with a small smile when our eyes locked.

"Introduce yourself, hun." The woman spoke, now sounding a bit bored. The guy infront of me took a moment to inhale, but I didn't expect his voice to sound energetic and happy in this situation.

"I'm Chris," Was all he said. Despite his sudden energy, you could hear the wavering in your voice. "Hi.. I'm (Y/n)." He waved at you, the same merry expression plastered on his face. You awkwardly waved back, you thought of it as weird since you two were so close, you could've just shaken his hand.

"And you too," Chris stepped back as the woman pulled the younger male from behind her and scooted him towards you. He just looked at you with the same death glare. "..Well?"

He sighed and looked down, folding his arms across his chest as he spoke, "Aiden." Wow, a child of many words. Well, maybe you shouldn't be the one to speak- especially right now. You introduced yourself to him eventhough he probably heard you say your name to the teen, who by the way was staring at you and aiden while smiling. That's a totally normal thing to do, yup.

The parents talked for a bit as you stood there, not able to make eye contact with anyone. You could practically feel the burning stare of the younger male.

After a while they left and you walked back into the house, running back up to your room to spend the rest of the day thinking about how you could have made that situation much less awkward and stare at some beautiful walls.
