You were walking around a dog park, staring at all the beautiful breeds. You saw two corgis, a pomeranian, a Leonberger, a German Shepherd, and many more. What really caught your eye was a beautiful black and white spotted Australian Cattle Collie. It was sitting peacefully next to a tree with a girl whose back was turned to you. You suddenly got up, your body acting on its own as you felt an overwhelming feeling of magnetism from the dog.

Your mind cleared, everything else was blurry but the beautiful speckled dog. You got closer to it, and closer to it, then finally...

a yellow hooded hand stopped you.

"-on! Hon!"

You jumped up, eyes landing on your mother. You looked around, finding yourself in your bed and wearing the clothes you had on the previous day. "(Y/n), I've been trying to call you all morning! Where is your phone?" Where was your phone? You'd set an alarm for 6:30, and it was 8:45. You got up, ignoring your mother's continuous words and now focusing on finding what was basically your entire social life right now.

"Are you listening-" "Sh." You noticed the faint, muffled alarm of your phone from where seemed to be between your bed and the bedframe. You made a noise of displeasure and asked your mom to get your phone for you while snuggling back into your blanket, to which she replied no and to get ready for the day before meeting her downstairs. Can't you just get one day of peace?

Already being annoyed with the day, you forced yourself up almost as immediately as she left the room. You widened your eyelids to make sure they wouldn't drift together while you stuffed your hand between the mattress and the frame, successfully achieving your blaring phone.

You walked up to your body mirror (a moving gift to you from your grandmother), and stared at your reflection. You wore a thin, knitted sweater that was a dull (f/c) color with suprisingly soft blue jeans and boots. You also chose to wear an infinity scarf, both the scarf and sweater made by your mother. You weren't gonna lie, you kinda looked like a hippie. You were comfortable though, so you were fine with it. You finished getting ready for the day and walked away, grabbing your phone and opening your door to leave the room.

As you got down the stairs, you saw your mother also dressed. You noticed there was no smell of food, the kitchen empty of delicious consumables. You frowned, expecting since yesterday night was the official night you two moved in, you thought she was gonna be more than happy to use the new kitchen. Guess you were wrong. "I've decided it would do us some good if we explored town a little and get used to everything," She said, looking your way and probably noticing your disappointment. You turned to her upon hearing those words, eyes now lightened.

"You seem suprisingly okay with this." "..Do you want me to not be?" Your mom furrowed her brows at the response, you quickly try to add something onto the sentence to make it seem like you weren't having an attitude, which you weren't. You were actually quite happy to explore the city. "I am, don't worry." "Good, because we're about to leave."

You speed walked into the kitchen to fill (D/n's) food bowl, your cat had an automatic food bowl so you didn't have to refill it for a while. After taking your pets into the backyard for a bit, you let them back in and made sure everything was in check before leaving through the front door.

You saw your mother in the car already, probably waiting for you. You walked up and opened the back door,  sitting down and buckling yourself up. "(Y/nnn), come sit in the front with me," your mother whined. "But I already got in, I don't wanna move," You honestly don't sit in the back of her car on purpose, it's just something you subconsciously do.
