Chapter 4

Later the following day, Anushka was sent on an errand.
Up until now she could still feel the pain.
She kept on blowing air on her injured hand hoping that would reduce the pain.

It happened that Raju and Anushka lived in the same town, Imagavish.

He was just passing by when he spotted something which really caught his attention.
The cut on Anushka's wrist.

He took a closer look at it when he got closer to her.
Suddenly, memories of what happened the previous day kept occuring to him.

Then, he reflected on the part when the enemy cut the MW's wrist.

" The lady's necklace.... What if?? Oh come on Raju what are you thinking?" He thought and turned around to look at the absent minded lady who he just bypassed.

He wanted to dismiss that thought from his mind because he knew that was impossible.

Just by the second thought of it, he called out " Hei hello.......! Th... that cut on your wrist...... I think I know where you got it. Yesterday, at the town's happy Holi celebration, where enemies attacked. You were there, weren't you? You wore a face mask and you even saved me, am I right?"

Anushka looked at him as if he was speaking in a strange language or something.

" What? What are you talking about? Face mask? Saved you? Hahaha I mean so you think a weak innocent girl like me is some sort of a brave warrior to you? " She burst into a hearty laughter until she couldn't breathe.

Raju looked at her skeptically and wondered if he had made a mistake asking her that question.

" Hahaha, do I look like the mysterious warrior to you? Oh come on..... You might be out of your mind. Excuse me." She added still laughing and began to walk away.

" Hei wait a minute! " Raju called out to her again.
He would just not give up.

" Is there any more of your nonsense left? Pour it all out, I'm all ears." She slurred.

" Well, I thought you would be interested in this one. You see, when the MW was fighting yesterday, this lady's necklace fell from his clothes and I picked it up. You know....... I'll like to personally give it back to him in case I ever meet him again." He revealed.

" That's my mum's necklace, I lost it!" Anushka had blurted out before she realized that she's actually confirmed Raju's suspicion.

She tried to snatch it from his hand but Raju was smart enough to pull his hand away so she missed.

" Ohhh..... So now it's your mum's precious necklace? Oh really? I thought you said you were not the mysterious warrior so how come your mum's necklace fell from his clothes?" Raju laughed.

Already enjoying the scene, he added "There's no way I'm going to give this necklace to you. I'll give it to the rightful owner, The Mysterious Warrior!"

" Oh please give it back..... I... I'm... Oh no please...... Okay I give up. You caught me. I'm the Mysterious Warrior. Now can I get back my mum's necklace?" She pleaded terrified by the revealed truth.

Raju's eyes widened in utter disbelief. He actually didn't think his suspicion would be right, but look, the truth came out from the horse's own mouth.

" Awwwww poor you... You secret is out. So I'm not crazy as you said before. Here, you can have your mum's necklace back." He remarked and finally gave the necklace to her.

" Thanks, I owe you one. But please.... let this remain as a secret between the two of us, please" Anushka stated.

"My lips are sealed, I promise not to tell. By the way I'm Raju, you are? Well I'm sure you have a real name apart from 'The Mysterious Warrior' Right?"

" Yeah sure, my name is Anushka, nice to meet you Raju."

" The pleasure is mine. I'm honored to meet such a brave lady like you Anushka"

Just then, she remembered she has been sent on an errand.

" Oh no, how could I have forgotten?  If it weren't for you this worrisome guy I would have reached Aunt Rhyma's shop already" she groaned and gave Raju a punch on his shoulder.

" Ooouuuccchhh! That hurts... I think you've broken my shoulder bone. Awwwww"

" Hei shut up silly. There's nothing wrong with your shoulder so stop making a fuss about it. I gotta go. Bye Raju, see you around!"

Since then, Anushka and Raju automatically became good friends.

They were seen most of the time together in Imagavish town.

Infact, everyone thought that they would make a wonderful couple and they didn't keep that thought to themselves.
The people always said it to their hearing.

" Huh? What are they saying? That you Raju and I Anushka, a great couple? Hahaha, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard hahaha" Anushka laughed.

" Pfft yeah... What a silly joke. I mean I'm just too good looking for you Anushka. That's it" Raju joked.

" Hei shut up.... Don't get too excited, you this scaredy poor guy, who cannot even kill a fly hahahaha!" Anushka retorted and soon it turned into another of their numerous arguments....................
