Distancing

Lisa pov
We are all in the sleepover now but there was only one person whose not here it was jennie.

"Guys did anyone see jen.....?" Rosie asked

*Bang!!*

The door bang open and walking in was a crying jennie, she didn't even bother looking at us and just went up to the room that both of us share when we have sleepover.

"What's wrong with her?" i asked.

Nobody had a clue. So I went up even though I said that I would distance myself from now on as I can't just leave her like that alone.
She was sitting at the bed edge crying but when she saw me she tried to stop herself from crying but she still let out sobs. I sat myself beside her.

"Hey what's wrong?" I ask softely diverting my eyes from her as i know how particular she is when someone is staring at her while she's crying. 

"he cheated on me....." Jennie softly chuckled. 

"that dick?" I asked furious. 

"yes he cheated on me with a sophomore called krystal apparently." jennie say.

"That dog gonna pay for this, jennie don't worry. I'll take care of this for now, let's just ignore him ok???" I said hoping to make Jennie better. 

"You know... he is actually not the main reason im crying about" Jennie said softly looking at my side profile which i still kept diverting my eyes. 

"In what way?" I ask even though i knew its because of me. 

"Why don't you look me in the eyes anymore? Why are you pushing me away constantly and then helping me now?" Jennie asked before putting her finger below my chin to make me look at her. 

Its been hours since i have looked into her eyes that closely. Her eyes were distant, blank and full of hurt but it does not seem to be for Kai instead for me. I quickly snapped out of myself because who am i kidding? 

"You're right, i do not actually know why i am helping you as well. But to be honest, no one deserve to be cheated on and have no one to talk to. When i look at you, it hurts either way. If i do not help you or help you, my heart will still hurt because you are crying over someone that do not give a shit to you. While you had a choice of someone that is willing to die for you. " I said 

"A little too late now if i want you now right?" Jennie said quietly. 

"What?" I asked as she was mumbling

"Nothing i just ask if we are good considering that we can hold a conversation now?" Jennie asked in anticipation for my answer. 

"Ya i guess?" I was not sure if i want to go back but i know Jennie needs someone now, and if i said no. It will break her more and i definitely do not want to see that. After that Jennie hugged me which i didnt return as i know she is still loving Kai. 

Third person pov

*knock knock*

"Lisa????" Mina ask.

After Lisa heard that she immediately pushed jennie away from her.

"Errr yeah.. jennie I'll just grab that" Lisa said.

"Hey mina" Lisa say while scratching her neck.

"what's wrong with your neck?" mina ask while touching lisa's neck seeing if there is a bump or not.

"Oh me nothing" Lisa chuckle lightly.

"I'm just here to tell you guys that dinner is ready." Mina said

"oh ok let's go, you should come down too Jennie. Whenever you're ready" Lisa said not facing Jennie and pulled mina along with her by putting her hands over mina shoulders.

Jennie pov
Lisa came to see why am I crying and I'm very thankful for her that she still care for me. I don't know why suddenly I have the urge to hug her so I hugged her and I was feeling butterflies in my stomach but the butterflies died down when mina knock the door and she immediately push me away from the hug. Probably not wanting Mina to see us like that. When mina say dinner was ready she didn't even wait for me, she just leave together with mina and ask me to go down when i am ready and it hurts me a lot.

So I went down alone and the scene below hurt me more they are having connected hands feeding each other pizza.

"Hey jennie unnie" tzuyu called me but I didn't hear "JENNIE UNNIE!!"

"Oh yes tzuyu what do you need?" I asked diverting my eyes away from the couple.

"I'm asking you to sit here unnie." Tzuyu said pulling out a chair for me

"thanks tzu." I said patting her head.

Lisa pov
"So now we are done with dinner we're watch movie now????" I asked 

Everyone agreed and I sat in the middle of the sofa, beside me was mina and jennie unnie. I can tell that Jennie is trying to get closer to me but  I kept talking to mina as I don't want to have the hurt back again. Every single time i look at her she remind me that the person she was crying over was kai and not me. But when I was glancing to jennie I saw her already staring at me I immediately looked away.

The movie ended great, it was time for the game called I have never ever. So I was the one who started first.

 "I have never ever pee at the grass before." i said. The only one who took the drink was Dahyun which everyone teased her of being zesty. 

Now it was Jungkook turn to ask

"I have never ever fallen for a best friend before." Jungkook said

jungkook, mina, me and jennie took a drink. I was curious and shocked as to why jennie drank so me being curious asked her. As jennie falling for her best friend that's impossible.

"Jennie it says best friend you know, are you too drunk to hear it correctly?" I asked taking away her drink to not let her drink too much

"I understand that, even though hun you look a little blurry right now but my ears are still fine to hear correctly?" Jennie said trying to snatch back the drink from me.

"Then who is it? Why did you not tell me before and when?" I asked persistent. 

"acting like my girlfriend already?" Jennie asked smirking

"sorry what, so who is it?" I asked confused with her mindgames

"Mina's girlfriend" Jennie said which led to everyone in the room shocked.

"Me?" i asked pointing to myself

"Yes from today onwards Mina. I will fight with you for Lisa." Jennie said changing her focus from me to Mina.

"oh." I said still processing the information.
