Hi.

Whether you're a RR or a FTR, this one's for you.

So, I'm not going to pretend I have a problem appearing and disappearing on here like a cheap magic show. It's very real. Life rewrites constantly, as does the paralysis of wanting something to be done right before it exists in the world. I think it's one of the worst patterns to find yourself tied into. It's where a lot of "potential" rises before it collapses. Dorm Room 210 kept going without me, and I was afraid it pursue it further.

I write characters who can't let people in because for a long time I was trying to figure out why I couldn't either. Dorm Room 210 was the beginning of that, even when I couldn't quite understand where I was going with it.

Why come back now? After 15 years of sitting and playing with it, I decided I couldn't move forward without changing things that fit my writing capabilities...

A lot of things.

I've been sitting on this new version for sometime. A story that starts at Prestwick West but goes somewhere we haven't been before. Same world you know but with different truths. I wasn't ready to reveal it until I was 100% done with it. But turning 30 made me realise that I can't let perfectionism and procrastination control me anymore.

And because I started here, I felt it only right to reveal it here first:

This is the new version, the one that'll become my debut: Walls We Build, #1 book of the Prestwick University series.

Lillian Caldwell has survived worse than a housing crisis.

She's a dominatrix enrolled at Prestwick University by the one client wealthy enough to make it happen. She came here with a role to play and her own studio to play in.

But someone gutted the housing system before she could start, and now she shares walls with Noah Sky, the Dean's son — her client's brother.

Noah built his life on appearances — the right smile, the right posture, the right distance from a family that would take him apart, if given the reason. He expects complications when he bargains his way inside the housing system. What he didn't expect was her. Lillian sees through the performance without trying — and that makes her dangerous.

He doesn't know what she is. She doesn't know what he did. And neither of them can afford for that to change.

Beneath the bargains, the proximity, and the careful planning, something takes root neither of them want.

A dangerous desire that puts their positions in jeopardy.

Dirty hands make dirty work, and they will do what it takes to keep the other in the dark.

It's everything you know and love; Prestwick University setting, dormitory problems, family drama, a forbidden romance... It's just done differently

Which is why I need your help to finally get this book out there in the world.

I'm taking a risk. Being vulnerable isn't easy for someone like me, but I am willing to put myself and my book out there.

I'm inviting you to join my Newsletter and take part in this journey with me. This is a free content and engagement space, run by a human and answered by a human only. It's where we unfold all things writing, self-publishing, and my book ideas (not just the Prestwick Series, but other stories, too) for readers who want to be part of it. I will put down a paid tier for anyone who wishes to support me financially, but that is NOT a requirement.

In simple terms, be part in creating this empire with me?

I only just created the page, so it's very new. I am debating on what benefits to include to give you all the most coverage. I want to give you heaps of options, and I'm not expecting you to just choose one. So, write down in the comments your answer. You can even suggest something new.

And as a bonus for your support, the first 1 chapter will be posted exclusively on my page once you join.

Thank you all for your patience. I'm excited to invite you in!
