He searched in all of the towns surrounding the school. He just could not find the one he was searching for. She was different from Marie in all the right ways. He was actually starting to fall for her but he knew that she was too good for him. Too pure. He was starting to go crazy within twenty-four hours of her being gone from under his line of sight.

She was finally starting to show her smile again being around Dion. She knew that she could trust him with anything but she wanted to keep the one thing that made her think she was a harlot of doing. She loved that he completely got her way of being even though he was the only person who she have ever had contact with before she was signed up for normal schooling. Alas she was finally content and not crying her eyes out every day because she did not know how to act around those people, but Dion knew what to do. They drove day and night to get to their destination, Avalon's house. She smiled once she saw the small white house with black shutters. She turned to Dion, whom was already looking at her as she smiled. "Thank you! Thank you Dion! Thank you for bringing me back home." She said gratefully to him and he replied with a 'You're welcome Avalon.' She quickly got out, bringing her suitcase with her and ran to the front door. The sound of her oxfords running up the stairs echoed throughout the entire house. She ran down to the end of the hall and into her father's study. There he was sat at the head of his desk with his glasses on the end of his nose, reading a book. "Daddy!" She smiled so brightly and her eyes started to shine. She missed him so much that she never knew it.

He looked up at her in shock. He did not expect her to be here so soon, but he knew that she could never stay away for too long. When he saw her smiling and standing there, he just could not resist in walking up to her and hugging her tight to him. He knew that she was not his real daughter but it felt like she was to him. "Hello sweetheart. What are you doing here?" He asked calmly. "I could not stay there Daddy. There were so many people who scared me and did things to me that have never happened to me before. I was just so scared and needed to come home for good. I can not go back, please do not make me go back." She exclaimed and tears silently rolled down her face as she looked up at him. He sighed and hugged her again. He knew that the boss would not want her to go back if she was not comfortable going back. So he nodded his head as in saying 'yes'. She thanked him as she cried into his shirt.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and they both looked towards it. Dion appeared in the room as always with a bright smile. "Hey Mr. King, I was wondering if I could take Avalon out for ice cream, if that is alright with you, sir." He said towards her dad. He sighed and looked down at his 'daughter', he saw her pleading eyes looking straight at him. "Alright. Go on ahead. But I want her back in no more than an hour." She jumped up and down and thanked him, as Dion did the same. She ran to him and jumped on his back, wrapping her arms around his neck at the same time. Her dad shook his head and thought that they acted like brother and sister around each other and he loved to see her happy. As soon as they left the room, he sighed deeply and put his head in his hands. He knew that they had uncovered the fallen angel and were on to her. He had to tell her soon or else it would be too late.
