Ethan's p.o.v

I took in a gulp of air and looked up at Amy who was now staring down at her cup of coffee.

"W-what about Mark, d-did something happen?" I asked shakily, to which she just sighed and waited a bit before answering, swirling her drink with a spoon.

"I... I don't know Ethan" she looked up and me and I cocked my head to the side letting her continue.

"I just don't think our relationship has that..." she snapped her fingers rapidly trying to find the right words.

"Spark?" I asked timidly, she hummed in agreement.

"Yeah that spark, it's dying and with it our relationship and Ethan, I trust you enough to tell you this as your one of my best friends, I don't think I'm entirely... straight"

My eyes widened at her words, what was she trying to say? Did she have feelings for another girl? How long has she been thinking about this?

"D-do you like someone?" I asked trying to get my thoughts out.

She sighed and looked back down at her now cold coffee, she liked it better iced anyways.

"I... I think I might like kat..." she trailed off.

My eyes grew wide. "Kathrine?!" I whisper shouted. I shouldn't be that surprised, they were really close and I could honestly see them together.

Amy bit her lip and continued swirling her coffee.

"Awwww, thats so cute! I can totally see you to together. But Amy... have you talked to Mark about this at all, he deserves to know." I said sternly, Amy really should break up with him before she leads him on.

She quickly sat up straight and stood up, grabbing her purse and jacket off the chair.

"You're right Eth, I need to break up with him now, you don't mind do you?" I giggled.

"Of course not, now go break yo mans heart" I laughed again, she just rolled her eyes and chuckled softly walking out the door.

~Time skip~

Later that night I received a call from Mark. It was roughly 9:30 as I went to answer the phone.

"Hey Mark" I said in a sad tone, all I got in reply was a small sniffle, fallowed by many after.

"M-Mark are you crying? Hold on bud I'll be right there"
