Well here I am, taking three pregnancy tests. My best friend Diamond went and got them for me. I didnt want James, AKA Doc to know about it. As she had gotten to my house, her husband pulled up as well.
"Babe why did you get three pregnancy tests?" He asks her.
"For Hailey, shes been showin signs of bein pregnant an asked me to pick some up where Doc wouldn't know. Yes shes gonna pay us back." I hear Diamond explain.
"Dude you coulda gotten the money first. " I tell her as they come into my room.
"Woman you could be pregnant. This ain't gonna wait." She tells me as I hand Brandon the money.
(Since they are married they have a joint bank account)
I then go take the tests. After ten minutes the tests all say one thing. Positive. James an I have been tryin for a while now.
"Your pregnant!" Diamond says.
Her and Brandon hug me.
Now I know how they felt when they found out there surrogate was pregnant with there little girl, Aaliyah. I wish Diamond were able to have children naturally but, she has a small issue that causes her not to be able to conceive. I'm letting her be a major part of this journey as she did when she had gotten Aaliyah. I mean heck shes my best friend and will be in the delivery room.
"I'm gonna go to his shop and tell him." I tell them.
"Let us know how it goes, were gonna go pick up our most prized possession from daycare." Brandon says.
"Will do see yall later." I say.
They then left in there trucks, and I got into mine and drove to James' shop.
I gave him the tests and he looked at them then me.
"Were finally pregnant. " I tell him.
We both then began to cry an he hugged me.
"Guess this means I gotta really win that outta town money. " he says letting me go.
After a few weeks, it is now Christmas and we tell the rest of the 405 at a dinner.
They were all so happy.
"Are you gonna wait for a sonogram or take the sooner test?" Chief asks.
"Sonogram I dont trust that other test, I had a friend who did that an they were told there baby was a boy but when it came time for the baby to come the baby was actually a girl, she had to wear boy onesies for a while." I say.
They all congratulate us then James and I went home and spent the rest of the night talking about names.
