Hi I'm Amanda. My dad is Farmtuck. My best friend is Asian. We are so much alike. I just wonder if he likes me. I mean he has flirted but what would my dad think? Right now I'm currently listing to music.
"Hey cutie." I hear AZN say.
I look up and he is just looking at me.
"You think I'm cute?" I ask.
"I always have. You are adorable Mandy." He says.
"What about my dad?" I ask.
"What if we snuck around for a while?" He asks.
"Let's do it." I say.
"I'll come pick you up at midnight." He says.
"Okay." I say.
Later that day, dad called AZN over for dinner. I just hope dad couldn't tell that AZN had a his had on my leg all through dinner. After I cleaned up and he left, dad came into the living room.
"Do you and AZN have a thing for each other?" He asks.
"What do you mean?" I ask playing dumb.
"You were different at dinner." He says.
"I thought I was myself." I say.
"Well it may have just been me." He says.
Midnight came. I had on my favorite outfit. A black tank top, my black Aeropostal jacket, black skinny jeans, and black shoes. I went out the window and we walked to the park.
"Do you think you dad would let us be together?" He asks as we sit on the swings.
"I don't know." I say.
"I've liked you a while now. I just didn't know how to say it or if you felt the same." He says.
"I've liked you a while too. You should have said something." I say.
A second later he kissed me.
Now it's been a month since that day. We are together.
A WEEK LATER
"I know that you are with AZN." Dad says.
Shit.
"You ain't in trouble Mands. I'm glad y'all are together." He says.
I then smile.
"I caught y'all sneaking out one night." He says.
Damn it.
He laughed.
"It's fine but don't don't again." He says hugging me.
"I love you dad." I say.
"I love you too." He says.
Yay! I can be with the man of my dreams! A year after we had gotten married and nine months after, Isabelle was born. I have a amazing family, husband, and child I cannot ask for more.
