It's been three days since I've last heard from Tanjirou and all of us were getting worried, especially me and Nezuko who've known and been with him longer than the others. My heart ached thinking something bad might have happened and I want to rush over there to see if he and everyone else is still alive, but they still wouldn't let me leave the area. So, later into the night when everyone was asleep, I snuck out to find Tanjirou. I couldn't sleep knowing something might have happened to him.
His scent was extremely faint as it got covered by other scents as people passed by here many times, but I was still able to track him down, which then followed with blood, making me worry even more. I jumped onto a tree branch and saw a demon chasing someone. Looking closer, it wasn't Tanjirou being chased, but I still helped the man out by slashing the neck of the demon with my blade and helped the man back to his feet with a smile on my face.
"Y-You shouldn't be here!" The man exclaimed. "How did they let you out of the area?"
I looked at the man in confusion but then realized it was one of the men that left with Tanjirou. I asked him multiple questions, the main ones being where and how Tanjirou was. He leads me over to their camp and I immediately wrapped my arms around Tanjirou as tears filled my eyes when I saw him. He was startled by my presence and scolded me for leaving on my own. I could smell blood coming off him and look at his arm, which was heavily bandaged up.
"What happened to your arm?" I asked him as I stared at it in horror.
"Ah, y-you don't need to worry about it, (Y/n)..." He smiled reassuringly, but I frowned at him.
"But I AM worried, Tanjirou." I sighed and laid my head on his shoulder. "At least you're still alive like you promised..."
"I never break my promises, (Y/n)..." He chuckled a bit and rubbed my back soothingly. "I'm sorry if I worried you..."
I stayed silent and kept my arms around him, afraid to let him go after three days without him by your side. I felt so relieved to see him after smelling so much blood earlier and was glad everyone else was still alive but had major injuries.
"You should head back before you get in trouble..." Tanjirou smiled at me.
"I'll endure it." I smiled back at him. "For now, I'll help around to help you guys recover."
I searched my pocket and took out a special ointment Urokodaki gave me before we had left.
"And starting with you first." I giggled and asked one of the guys to get me some new rolls of bandages.

"Thank you." I smiled at the man who had handed me a warm bowl of miso soup.
I gently blow on the soup and slowly consumed it. Despite them being out for almost four days, the materials used for cooking was amazing.
"(Y/n), say ahh!" Tanjirou chuckled and used his chopsticks to grab some of his soba.
I opened my mouth and leaned towards the soba, but he slowly dragged it away and then laid a kiss on my forehead, causing me to panic inside as my face heated up before covering up my face in embarrassment. He laughed softly and eventually fed me the soba. It felt strange knowing I couldn't stay mad at him for too long, but I felt happier knowing that he was still alive.
