How Strong My Mother Is

Do you know how strong my mother is?
I'll tell you her true worth,
She's the woman who went through pain and hell,
Just to bring my little life on this Earth
She's the lady who'll teach you respect and manner,
To be yourself no matter what,
That nobody should get to define
Your beauty,your unique glamour
She'll be that one friend
When you think you have none,
The one person you can count on,
To come and join your fun.
She'll be the one you'll wake up
When you're hungry late at night,
And instead of yelling and going to sleep,
She'll smile and feed you a few bites.
She'll give you more than you need
And still think it's not enough,
Because she's abundant in kindness
And she's willing to give you all she's got.
I'll never forget the stories,
She told me late at night,
Of heroes with kind hearts
And how I could join them in their flight.
Always putting others first,
She's one of the few supporters I've got,
She let's me try all sorts of things,
Even when others say I should not.
And from her wise words,
I learned two valuable things:
Strength isn't a unit to be measured,
But I still know how strong my mother is.
