Dr Yoon was shocked. Not only was this girl tiny, but she was severally malnourished. Her Blood reports were yet to come, but the doctor was sure she had various vitamin deficiencies.

Another thing that shocked the doctor was that she survived the hits. With the lack of nutrients and healthy muscles that Lily had, surviving such conditions and wounds was difficult.

Pity filled the doctor as he realized that this tiny girl probably did not lead the best life. However, what worried him was weather Lily would be able to recover or not.

Walking out of the makeshift hospital room, Dr Yoon was visibly a little shaken and scared to tell Blaze the results. While Blaze was a good guy, he was known to lose his temper and seeing how much Blaze cared for the girl, Dr Yoon was sure that he would be angry.

"How is she? Is she fine?" Blaze quickly got up from his seat, moving towards the doctor.

"Blaze I need you to sit down and listen to me without losing your temper. Only if you promise me not to destroy my house or take out your gun, can i tell you anything" Dr Yoon replied calmly, having been on the receiving end of Blazes warth a number of times.

"Just tell me" Blaze gritted out, now increasingly worried.

"She has a bruised rib. Her back and neck are bruised and there are going to be a few permanent scars there. Moreover, she has very weak bones and a definate calcium deficiency. But Blaze, the most concerning thing is that she is severely malnourished. The girl had little to no muscle power and is extremely weak. Also, i do not know the extent of the mental damage that her living conditions have had on her." Dr Yoon replied.

Blaze was sacred. For the first time in his life, Blaze was terrified. "She was only there for 4 days. How long will it take to recover and its not like i did not feed her. I made sure she had atleast 2 meals but she would not eat after that." Blaze asked, hoping the doctor would give a positive feedback.

"No no no. You are getting it wrong. Such sever deficiencies dont arise from not eating properly for 4 5 days. She was probably not being fed properly for a long time. My guess would be atleast 3 to 4 years or more. Where did you find her anyway?" Dr Yoon asked curiously.

Blaze felt like an idiot. He had never asked Lily where she was from and how she ended up there. However, this was a topic for another time. Right now, he needed to see his angel before he lost it.

"Can i see her?" Blaze asked. Dr Yoon allowed, knowing Blaze would bring up a storm if he was not allowed.

"Does it really matter what i say?" Dr Yoon asked, now feeling the tiredness of his body.

Blaze did not reply and hurried into the makeshift room, eager to see Lily.

What he, however, did not expect was a tiny woman hooked to more machines than he could count. Her skin looked paler than ever and she looked vulnerable enough to bring the strongest men on their knees.

Shakily, he went and sat on the chair near her bed and held her hand.

"You need to wake up Lily. Its so difficult seeing you like this" Blaze had no idea why he felt such strong emotions. It was scary for him and also a bit concerning. This was moving way to fast and he had become way to attached in a very small period of time.

But now it was impossible to turn back, cause he was ready to give the brunette the whole world.

Lilys pov

Pain. So much pain. If there is one thing in the world that i hate, it is pain.

My whole body felt like i had been in a train wreck and i did not understand why this was happening.

Slowly, drawing in a breath, i peeled open my eyes, or well, eye. The other one was swollen shut and was hurting soooooo much!
Why! Why god whyyyy? I am probably gonna look more ugly now.
And what if Blazey hates me cause i look bad?

Whimpering from the pain in my body and in my thoughts, i tried to sit up. If Blaze was going to leave me then i need to figure out what i will do and how i will survive.

"Hey hey dont get up." As soon as Blazes voice reached my ears, tears started streaming down my face. He did not leave! I havent lost my only friend!

"Are you in pain? Tell me whats wrong Lily." Blaze asked me urgently.

"I tho- thought y-you lef-left me!" I sobbed.

"I am never leaving you Lily. I promised didn't i?" Blaze asked softly, holding onto my hand. He had now sat down on the chair that was next to my bed.

"Where are we?" I finally asked after calming down a little. Blaze helped me with a cup of water as he answered "you are at my family doctors place. You collapsed on the way here"

I sucked in a shar breath as pain hit my ribs. "I-its hurt-hurting Blazey!" I whinned. Blaze would make it alright. He always helped.

"Let me call the doctor okay? Dont try to get up yeah babe?" Blaze asked. I pouted but nodded. I wanted to explore and i was so curious about where we were. However i knew better than to ask. I should remain silent and take what i get. I had learned this earlier in my life and have been living by this rule forever.

Maybe, if i dont whine and be good, Blaze can tell me?
