This book is dedicated to my late and fellow senior brother in sufferings and shame, Junior Kaleninawa Shikololo. Junior disappeared for three months in 2018 and was later found totally discomposed in the Goriagab Dam with one of his body parts missing. The result to his death remains a mystery to this day.
My fellow third youngest brother in persecution, scarcity and want, Tangeni Hanga. Tangeni Hanga is a young man familiar with shame and suffering, a man that grew up under child support because of a father never cared about him and for him.
My youngest brother, Michael. Even though you do not know me, since you were taken from us when you were too young, always know that you have two older brothers that loves you very much. I long to see you very soon that I may embrace you in my arms with tears of joy. Be strong and stay alive.
I cannot deny the fact that you are my mother. What you have done is the result of who we are today. We had to go through rejection to be accepted, shame to be famous and most importantly hatred to be forgiving and through devastation to become strong in what ever life gives. You are forever our mother and we love you so much. Never forget that.
To our helpers during our hard times. It was not a mistake that you shared in our sufferings and played a role in our lives. It was part of God's plan for you to be there to make our burdens a little bit bearable. Remember that Jesus never carried the cross alone.
And you our valuable readers. What life gives, life has given. What life takes, life has taken. What we went through was just the beginning of shame and merely devastation. So don’t give up yet, you are an inspiration to someone you do not know yet. Go out there and paint your own life, because if you don’t, no one will. REMEMBER, YOU HAVE A TALE TO TELL.
