As a young women, Leah has always been a busy women. She was a lovely young women, that would make a perfect wife, efficient and well organized. She do always prepare meals, clean the house, and after she was done with her house chores, sat outside on her lawn as she watches the bright noonday sun casts shadows over David’s Hill.
David's Hill was far and away the most beautiful place that she ever lived. With seasons of singing and the cooing of doves.
Looking at the flowers beside her door, her eyes always widened with pleasure, taking a deep breath as Werner passes by. He do always wave his hands at her greetings, shepherding his sheep’s.
With her first look into Werner's face, she always got driven away by her desires. Everything about him made her want to spend her entire time with him. It imbedded itself deep in her heart through her whole being, increasing her heart impulses. She couldn't prevent herself from being drawn away by the magnetism of his eyes. She knew that behind his dark-brown eyes beat the heart of a passionate, love giving and generous man with affection. Her right judgements let her imaginations run free.
Then one day Werner decided to have a view of her flowers. He had planned to stop by rather than always pass by observing from a distance. More slowly, he walked towards her house and notice only the silence greeting him. He didn't see Leah yet but walked down the steps leading to her door and stood there in front of flowers growing over a canopy. When he turned to make a comment on the flowers next to her door, the wooden door opened widely. He levered himself up whilst he releases a long whistling breath out of shock. He hadn't felt her move nor the sounds of her feet pounds on the floor. She looked at him with surprise, “ my goodness, is that Werner?”
“Look who’s here!” shouted Leah,
“Good day Leah” he greeted in his cultured voice, and smiled at her.
“Flowers!, it seems to me you love flowers”
“Do you like them?” she ask with a satisfying puff.
“Oh yes! They are so beautiful, especially the ones next to your door” He kept on staring at the flowers that grew to the ceiling twisted around the wooden poles for several moments. From where she sat in her straight-back chair in front of her green lawn. She could tell that he deeply loved flowers. “What a romantic guy”
Flowers everywhere blossomed against a wooden canopy, with glossy green leaves. He did not knew their names though. The only flowers he knew were roses, red and heavily scented.
Her heart pounded excessively, concerned that he might not have room for her desires in his heart. Did she got trapped in her imagination?
She kept staring at him. There was a long silence as both of them got locked away by the encounter while they look deep into each other's eyes. They were standing much closer to each other. The atmosphere was thick with temperatures rising. His heart skipped several beats. He admired her grace and kindness.
Leah gave a huge grin of humbleness and quickly ran into the house to fetch him water to drink.
“Is it not wonderful?” Werner thought of himself. He had surprised her and she had him wondered very far. She had always set her eyes on him. It was a dream on top of a fantasy.
“I must say I’m surprised” Werner thought in himself.
Werner talked with her like nothing moved him about her and she stared at him with a frightened expression as she tries to hide her feelings of love towards him. And there it was, Romeo and Juliet. It was never his intention to get trapped in her love and it was never in her thoughts that he would stop by one day. Even as Leah spoke, she kept looking at him surprised.
