Shouto and Momo had been living together for a few months now and had been together for over a year. With all the commotion of the two of them becoming Pro Heroes they didn't have time to celebrate their anniversary until tonight. The young Hero couple was out at dinner, at a very nice and private five star restaurant, reservations courtesy of the Yaoyorozu's.

"I know it's nice and all of your parents to have gotten us this table, but isn't it a bit much?" Shouto questioned as he looked up from his menu.

"You're my boyfriend and my parents like you. Plus with us starting out on our own together they just wanted to do something nice," Momo replied cheerfully. "Besides, they got us the reservation. We have to pay for our own meals."

"I'm paying."

"Shouto. We live together now and share our money," she giggled, seeing that he was still determined to do what was expected of a boyfriend. "You can pay but it doesn't really matter."

"It matters to me. You're my first and only girlfriend, Momo. Just let me have this."

"Fine. Okay."

"Besides, tonight we're celebrating our one year anniversary, even if it is two months late," Shouto said as he held his hand out and took Momo's. "I've never celebrated an anniversary before, but I want this to be a special night that we both remember. I love you, Momo Yaoyorozu, and I am the happiest and luckiest man in the world."

"I love you too, Shouto Todoroki," Momo replied, smiling gently at him. "I feel just as lucky to be with you."

"Yeah? Well that's good," Shouto smirked slightly as he scooted his chair around the table so he was sitting beside her. "You're so amazing and beautiful, Momo."

Momo blushed at his words, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear as he spoke. "You tell me that too often," she replied, her face still tinted red.

"So? Did it hurt?"

"What? When I 'fell from heaven'?" she questioned, remembering Kaminari using that line on Jirou before.

"No."

She cocked her head at his response. "No? Then what?"

Shouto smirked as he leaned close to her, setting his hand on her face and bringing his lips to hers. Their lips touched in a sweet and simple kiss. Shouto parted but kept his forehead resting gently against hers. "Did it hurt when you fell for me?" he sensually questioned.

Momo's face heated tremendously. Even after being with him for a year he could still surprise her with his flirting. She smiled, shaking her head at his silly question. "You're such a flirt when we go out," she told him, leaning in and kissing him again.

"Well yeah," he shrugged, sensually smiling at her, "if I'm gonna flirt with someone, might as well be the most amazing woman I know. And who knows, maybe I'll get lucky."

"You know you're getting lucky tonight," Momo responded, playfully rolling her eyes. "But before that, we should order something and enjoy our dinner."

Shouto glanced over his menu once more. "Hmm... Maybe we could go and work up our appetite first," he suggested, lowering his menu and setting his arm around his girlfriend.

"Shouto.. We're already here.." Momo replied to him, staring into his wanting two toned eyes. "But this is a special night..."

Shouto took her by the hand as they stood up. "Let's head home," he said as they left the restaurant.

The two abandoned their expensive dinner date, not caring about it at all really. What was important them was being together and being happy. They walked along the street hand in hand as they headed back to their home.

"Maybe we should have called a cab. It's a little chilly out," Momo said as she rubbed her arm to try and warm up.

"Oh. Well here." They stopped walking and Shouto removed his blazer, setting it on his girlfriend's shoulders. "That better? I can warm you with my Quirk if you're still cold."

"This is perfect. Thank you, Shouto," Momo replied, softly looking into his eyes.

"You're welcome," he said, taking her hand again and continuing on their way. "But now that we're up and walking, I am getting kinda hungry."

"Shouto.. We can't go back now."

"Then I guess we'll have to figure something else out for us," he said as he looked around at the buildings they were walking past.

"If you didn't want to go to a fancy dinner like that then why did you agree to it in the first place?"

"Because I wanted you to be happy, but after being there it felt too cliché for an anniversary and it's way too expensive for us right now," Shouto replied with a shrug of his shoulders. "I know you're still somewhat used to not paying much attention to prices, but we're not living off of our parents anymore so we have to spend our money wisely."

"I know that... I've learned the value of money and I know that I don't have an unlimited supply anymore. But if we're not eating at the restaurant, then what do you suggest for our anniversary meal?" Momo questioned.

"Well you know me. I prefer simplicity," Shouto stated as his eyes drifted across the street. "How about we grab something there and continue our date in the park?"

Momo followed his gaze and nodded to his suggestion. "That sounds perfect, Shouto."

It was only another ten minutes until the two were sitting on a park bench eating their fast food. The night was calm and peaceful, the park was nearly empty and beautifully lit with lamps and candles as the two overly dressed Heroes ate their dinner.

"This is so much better than that restaurant," Momo stated before taking a bite of one of her burgers.

Shouto sipped his soda as he watched her eat, admiring how happy she looked. "I'm glad. This is more us right now than some high end dinner," he replied as he ate some of his fries. "Although we are over dressed for a date like this is the park," he said as he glanced down at his dress shirt, vest, and tie, then over to Momo who was wearing a scarlet dress with his blazer still on.

"I dunno," Momo shrugged, "it's kinda fun to dress up like this and then eat fast food in the park," she laughed. "Maybe we could do something similar next year."

Shouto smiled, loving how happy she was on their first anniversary date. "I wouldn't mind that in the slightest."
