He opened his eyes and they were black. Not the usual color they were he turned to the wolves that seemed to back up a bit. Not just seconds after people appeared next to him.
A hush fell over the rose garden as Maxton's body limply stood up. That's when I noticed the cross on the people's necks they were silver
"Give us the boy!" A man screamed out.
"He belongs with us!" A female rang.
We tried to move to stand in front of him only to find that we were stuck in place.
Somebody flashed water onto Maxton making him scream out falling back to the ground.
We could move again.
We ran over to Maxton but not before a knife was wielded our way. Within seconds he was gone.
Maxton was gone
