Stiles POV

While I wasn't able to be sired, Klaus was still coming and now that I knew I potentially had the power to stop him I was definitely going to try. Deacon said that I possessed all of the possible spark abilities. The one i was most focused on was blood magic. I know my best ability was supposed to be sorcery but think of all of the damage I could do to a vampire with blood magic. despite my preferences, Deacon said that focusing on just one skill, especially my weaker skills would put me at a disadvantage. So i chose three skills to work on: elemental magic or my avatar powers as i call it, blood magic of course, and sorcery. Derek suggested i waited until tomorrow but who knows what could happen by then. so without a word i pushed Derek out of the building and we went home to get changed. "You sure you dont want to wait what Deacon just said was a lot to take in" he said. "I just found out that im a bad-ass multi powered werewolf and you think I'm gonna wait to use em."  "You're right" he replied with his head down"where to?" "The forest obviously i want to learn elemental magic first because thats like four powers in one." 

10 minutes later

We arrived in the middle of the forest when all of a sudden Derek stopped. "Wait how exactly are supposed to even...umm..tap into your powers?" he asked. "Deacon said that i just needed to focus and become connected with the earth only then will i be able to use all of its properties" I closed my eyes and focused my hearing on the sounds of the earth.

Derek POV

After about a minute stiles eyes shot open they were different then before though instead of violent or golden they were sienna. "i thought your eyes were violet?" i asked. "Deacon said that my eye color will depend on the power I'm using until I can use all of them simultaneously. " he replied. He closed his eyes again and raised his hands slowly. At first i was a bit disappointed when i didn't see anything but then i felt something wrapping around my feet. Just as i looked down i was pulled to the ground by what seemed to be vines. "ouch!!" i exclaimed. I looked up to see an amused stiles hunched over laughing. "I- Im sorry but i had to." he explained between laughs. At first i was angry nut then i let out a booming laugh.  I got up and dusted my self off. "Ok now i wanna try earth" he said, causing me to give a look of confusion. "But you just used some vines isn't that earth" "no Derek, I manipulated the water inside the vines to do that." he explained. "okay" i said, "-but NOO hitting me with rocks" "deal" he agreed. Stiles crouched down with his hands dug into the dirt and closed his eyes. i was waiting to see what was going to happen when all of a sudden the ground around him began to turn red and...MELT! "Umm Stiles" i warned but gained no response. The liquefied red ground seemed to be moving closer and closer. He opened his eyes  and started to move his hands up and in a circular motion. From each edge of the circle what seemed to be balls of lava floated and spun around.  Stiles then brought both hands up and slammed them down accompanied with an explosion. By instinct i covered myself. when the smoke cleared there stood Stiles with an excited yet worried look in his eyes. once me made eye contact though he exhaled a sigh of relief. "I thought you said you were trying earth" i said wiping the dirt crumbs off of my shirt. "it was earth just not the standard form." he said with a wink. "ill show you standard" i said shifting into my wolf and chasing after him. he began to run away but didn't shift. He was...faster than normal and i could swear to the moon that there were literal gust of wind behind him as if they were propelling him through the forest.
